Beebop-RIP
...I hope they have a set of templates you can use for various locations. That would save alot of time. If they don't I'm sure that us mission builders will make them. I'll make sure that as soon as the game is released we have a "Knights of the Sky" section opened at Mission 4 Today. Dubbo
Look at this...people. I suppose they will be static but guys....people! People and a damaged Howitzer...
Cold_Gambler
FB-Loft- says they intend to make the horses and the ppl animated (as well as tank tracks move, and guns recoil [i'm paraphrasing loft's russglish about the guns, so I could be wrong])  I'm thinking my XP2500 based rig might have a little difficulty running this at any graphic setting. On the other hand, I may be striking out on my own and writing off a high-end rig as a business expense
Blairgowrie
I was rather hoping you might strike out on your own CG. I am sure you would enjoy the law business a lot more working for yourself and make a lot more money to boot. If you could keep your overheads down, I am sure you would do well. Dubbo
More. Neat. I wonder if the lamp standards and park benches are placeable objects?
JensenPark
More. Neat. I wonder if the lamp standards and park benches are placeable objects? oh yea, and I can see you spending hours and hours mission building - placing cigarette butts by the park benches - and making every 3rd light bulb burnt out. Dubbo
No. I want to build a huge landing field lines with park benches and lamp posts
Enforcer57
man i cant believe the detail. I think the old il2 engine has alot of life in it yet. Soldiers are somehting we really need in IL2. We had them in fighters anthology, and they even moved and shot...but werent actually animated.
Dubbo
Look at the detail on that balloon  Cables what? And some more trucks.
Enforcer57
Man I just cant believe this. Kinda makes me wonder why it was even manditory that the new BoB series even needs a new graphics engine. This is incredible.
Dubbo
 I don't know what it means, but "Wow!!" anyway. Look at those internals.......
Beebop-RIP
Damn it looks better with each screenshot. I'll bet they will have an awesome damage model. Anyone heard about a release date. Is it the standard 1C "two weeks"?
Enforcer57
Kinda makes ya wonder what the point is in developing a new sim engine for BoB.... ok, I know, because they can and you can only upgrade something so much, a la B-52s. But damn, that reminds me of the Gillows WW1 planes-all those ribs and stringers. They'll probably have barf bags and virtual castor oil that gives you the virtual runs. I hope someday 1C lets loose on the coding for that stuff a bit. I can only imagine what some guys could come up with, especially the artisans that are being wasted on CFS. DoubleTap
This game appears to be made by the same guys who made the IL2 Server Commander program we are using for Hell-Divers. Based on the quality of that freeware, I would definitely say I will have to give this game a go...
Enforcer57
Dub's sliding between parallel universes right now I think. Who knows, he may have happened upon an alternate Earth where women aren't totally F-ing insane. He may never come back. And those vehicles are incredible. The gun truck even has support legs. I wonder if there will be any infantry just for a little added atmosphere.

Shadow
Don't know if anyone has seen these vids yet. http://www.gennadich.com/lang/en/id/69 Long D/L and weird codec (Bink will play it), but worth the wait. The water is beautiful, cockpit excellent and the modeling is tasty! I'm gettin' itchy for this one.
