Administrators Posted October 6, 2018 So here it is, the official end of the 2018 airshow season in the UK and while it may not have 19 Spitfires, this one is still pretty special, particularly as it marks Peter Teichman's final public air display as he steps down as chief pilot at the Hangar 11 Collection. 2. Administrators Jabo Posted October 7, 2018 Author 2. Administrators Posted October 7, 2018 We did! Great day out and the weather was brilliant, So much so in fact that the earliest airworthy aircraft in the collection were able to fly. Namely, the Bristol Boxkite (a replica but still dates back to 1924!), the 103 year old Bristol Monoplane (the oldest airworthy British-built aircraft in the world) and the 108 year old Depardussin! (And those two are the genuine articles). Add to that, Spits (PRXI and Vc), TF-51 and Sea Hurricane, a host of civilian air racing types including the DH.88 Comet 'Grosvenor House' and the Travel Air Mystery Ship plus loads of cool cars and bikes. Thanks to Chris, Sarah and her parents for being great company for the day. One or two photos to follow. 1 1 Quote

To say it was varied would be to miss a wonderful opportunity to use the word 'eclectic' Great day out. Oh and as a bonus here's a photo from a couple of weeks before... We must be bloody mad. 1 Quote
