1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted October 13, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted October 13, 2013 Hello, I wonder if we have any audio guru's that can offer some advice/solutions... I have a number of cassette tapes that I would like to convert to mp3 or mp4 My radio/cd/tape player has the usual speaker outputs plus an AUX L and R It also has an "optical out" My question is what sort of cable/converters would I need to enable me to connect this to a computer? Your advice / pointers welcome. Salute Friar Quote
DD_Bongodriver Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I believe you should be able to use a twin ended 3.5mm jack stereo lead and plug the player device into the line in.....not sure if the mic input supports stereo but a line in should.......I think? Quote
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted October 13, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted October 13, 2013 Yeah, Line In of the computer with a 3.5mm jack should do fine. Use the Aux L/R from the tape player output ... Your biggest challenge will probably be getting your hands on a good and user friendly piece of software that will work without too much of a hassle... Quote
