Thanks guys. So I guess if I want to get another USB connection on my computer I will have to take it into the shop and have them add in the jumper connection for the last available plug on the motherboard that will support another USB connection. I was trying to avoid that because I suspect that it will reorganize the existing USB connections and the games may end up not associating the USB port to the proper control in game, requiring me to remap all the controllers. On the other matter, If I create a new pilot, are we saying that this second pilot can have a custom controller setup? In his setup I would not have the game recognise the joystick but the flight yoke?

Can 2 controllers be put together on a USB hub and run in IL2 without issues, to be able to open an extra USB port on my computer? I want to put my rudder pedals and CH throttle quadrant on the hub. They are both low data load devices and I don't think I will experience lag in control input as a result. In the "Input Options Setup" screen in game, what does the Joystick1, Joystick 2 etc. do? Can I set it up so I can choose Joystick 1 to fly with a joystick and Joystick 2 to fly with a flight yoke?

Is there a way to determine wind direction before takeoff?

Don't fly Cliffs much but I like to stay current with the updates so I loaded the new patch but it seems that I have an issue on takeoffs now. Flying 109, no matter how slowly I apply throttle I end up in a ground loop, usually to the right. Have takeoffs changed, had no problems before.

I built a new DCS mission I would like to test. Today or tomorrow anytime? I am afraid I am probably still too novice to be of much good in testing a mission, not knowing all the weapon systems, nav and all.

Yeah, the Thrustmaster Warthog to me it the peak of HOTAS setups. If this is to compete with the Thrustmaster Warthog it will also have to be on price as well.

Ok, I have a copy of Lockon, I bought this a long time ago. So once I install Lockon to my computer do I have to do anything with it or can I just purchase FC3, install it and then run FC3 without ever having to run Lockon at any time before. I guess it doesn't matter that I have DCS already on the computer before I install Lockon?

So I can assume when it is out of Beta it will update automatically at that time?

Does it not update automaticly when you fire up the game, mine still read 1.2.6.

Have TrackIR running on DCS in Su27T, head can rotate, elevate, lean closer and lean back but I can not lean from side to side. Is this normal or is there something I can do to correct this?

True, not a Cobra, but the kind of move that a Cobra capable aircraft would be able to pull off is where I was going with that. And yes, that could possibly have been staged but we would only guessing at that.
