Is this a game bug? Sometimes when you are hit, by flack or bullets you hear the hits at other times you hear nothing and then look over and see a big hole in your wing. Is this my setup or is it a common situation?

Yup, I have seen Sonofhorus there as well and I knew he was a Dogz but the others I had no idea. Was just mentioning, just in case that was a concern. With the password I am under the impression that the flow of pilots was selective somewhat. Mind you I fly there so you guys are not too picky.

Just an FYI. I was on the Clod server the other night, there were 6 guys on, did not recognize any of the names in game. Not any Dogz that I am aware of. Is the server password available to people outside the Dogz close circle?

So I see my prop pitch control setup for the 109 actuates the prop pitch in British fighters in a reverse manner. Is this normal? Do I have to reverse the control settings every time I change plane?

Talking about Brit planes, I find that the wheel brakes are marginal in effectiveness at best. Is this right or is it my settings? I have wheel brakes for Brit planes set to my spacebar key. I am under the impression that pressing = full brakes.

Point 3. above, isn't your convergence set when you are arming your plane or is it a case of that is where your guns are set and now you have to set your sight to the same convergence distance?

Is the momentary button issue also pertinent to the joystick hat switches and triggers as well or are they pulse normally?

Any software conflicts if the Warthog stick is connected to a computer that the remaining controllers are CH? I know CH has it's programming and calibration software and I imagine the Warthog has its software as well. Would it be a case of installing both softwares (thus possible conflict) or for example the CH software could be used for everything. The stick is sold separate and I like the config of my CH throttle.

This sort of thing is being done in the USA by an IL2 flyer called Thrud. It is done at airport open houses to promote flying and encourage young people into thinking about aviation. He started out flying sims and went on to getting his pilot's license.

Hey Fenrir Is there a PDF manual on procedures for the P51? If there is one on our computer after we have the plane activated, I can't find it. I know I saw a Youtube vid about the steps to start one but I would rather read about it than watch a vid over and over to get it right, etc.

I will fly it again tonight and see what happens. The link in the above post takes me to a Search page and not to a post. I saw no planes, and heard no radar reports. My chat window is turned off. I do get the game message displays, eg. aircraft located at.......... and the verbal notifications of the same. I don't know if you still have icons on but if you do I did not see any icons either. Previously icons were visible. I don't think you changed the server address, if you did I could be logging on to an old map??

I may not understand all of the above but what I think I am reading is not matching what I saw last night. I flew the server twice and never ran into a friendly or enemy plane. Now this is a change since last I flew the server when there were lots of bomber types in flight.

As my stick is not mounted in any special location and my desk has the room I can place it where I want. As a rule, it is to the right of the desk BUT I have often wondered about placing it in the center. I will have to give that a try for a while and see what I think of it.

Can someone bring me up to speed on what would be required for getting involved in Falcon as in programs mods etc. and where to look to find them? I have not really gotten into a Jet sim since Fighter Anthology. I have DCS but have not flown it much.
