check our some of the Computer forums I was worries about my E8500 and found that some were running them at 60c .... makes my 40 c sound cold. I just started googling the CPU and found a ton of differnt forums

it will play IL2 in perfect mode... what more do you need it better then my laptop and I get down to 15fps on the black death track in excellent mode

go to tiger direct , amazon.com, and zipzoomfly.com. the prices are USD but should give you a good base if your 3.0 g CPU is the E8400 then it worth 169 usD I just bought one

well 3rd try worked seem to be stable at 39C for the first 5 min. I was in a panic over the high heat in lees the 30 sec.

ok i put power to the new rig and went right into the bios Can a E8400 get to 70C in less then a min? the hardware contoler say it was at 70C but that seems to fast. ideas?

ok Quazi spent my money on parts and they will arrive in a week. I will need an op system . this computer is for IL2 now and maybe SOW later but nothing else. it will be networked with the router and from there maybe the laptop. (vista) the question is which op system you think I should install vista 32, vista 4, XP 32, XP64 .. input Cuda

yes and no there is a file called devicelink in IL2 that has all the output of the game so you can build a sim pit and use real gauges... but it is disabled for multiplayer because some one hacked it and use it to make a radar to find the enemy in 1.0 something version Cuda
