Actually if we can implement dynamic cargo for the airfields in the next campaign we should be able to stock check exactly what had been used. Would add another important role for people to keep the airbases stocked/re-supplied either with the C130-J or the CH-47

@BluBear - How would you like to structure your repayments under the new "Making our pilots accountable" policy?

Thanks @BluBear for the response. Ref the kill notifications - yes I think I forgot to turn them off when I upgraded the version. You will still get the scores when you make it back to base. I would be in favour of turning them off. Ref the SAM levels - I agree. Going after the high numbered SAMs means we have to coordinate, which can only be good.

New features that have been added into the campaign. Do we want to use? Each pilot death loses 100 points from total Players earn ranks by the amount of points they earn Only players above certain ranks can buy certain items SA10 and 11's can be removed from the campaign Turn off Kill notifications

Hello chaps I would like to propose we hold off starting the next campaign until the Herc has been released (which should be very soon) and has been updated into the Campaign logic. If this gets pushed back by a chunk then we will start it regardless in a few weeks and update when appropriate.

With the campaign now completed, here are the final scores

Update 11th September Just 4 of us on duty last night (myself, @BluBear, @PapaBear, @wingflyr) No progress was made due to difficulties with the terrain (FARPS in deep, high sided valleys) and protected by difficult SAMs. I am on holiday next week so if you guys want to fly the mission please remember that you must change the mission back to something else right afterwards.

One was taken on Blubears phone but I guess he has not had time to post it. I will ask tonight if he flys.

Mass fly past

Part 1 of the mass take off. I rotated my phone and am currently trying to work out how to rotate the rest of the footage.

@DD_Fenrir - is it just you or did I recall you saying you are bringing Joe and Olive as well?

@fruitbat - I do remember that now. Thanks for the reminder. As you were chaps Datalink slots will start with 00200 for slot 1 and go up to 00207 for slot 8.

I am just doing what I should have done years ago and starting an exercise book with notes on how to do stuff. I am just writing up the F16 setting up the Datalink. I think it would make more sense if we all agreed to start with 00201 for slot 1 and so on 00202 for slot 2? Rather than starting at 00200 for slot 1 All those in favor say "Aye"

PPD UPDATE I have gone into the files and found the scores for all players that have taken part in the campaign to date and have arrived at the following PPD score (points / deaths) Wingflyr 109.42 Zukker 50.0 Squeeze 34.11 Delta 19.36 Blubear 244.33 PapaBear 151.25 Squawk 235.0 Fruitbat 441.07 Friar 129.41 Fenrir * 101.26 * Fen has flown with multiple id's and this score reflects all those added together. The compilers of this chart would like to ask Fen if he could please fly with the same id......

... Or to look at the points a different way, the "Danger Dogz PPD Rating" (that's Points Per Death) @BluBear = 244.33 @fruitbat = 441.07 @Friar = 129.41 @DD_Fenrir = 145.84 @wingflyr = 109.42 I will try and get the PPD's for everyone that has taken part so far.

UPDATE 7TH AUGUST 2025 More good ground achieved with thanks to @DD_Fenrir, @fruitbat and @BluBear. Fen kept the skies clear to enable Fruitbat and Blubear to go SAM hunting whilst I did the advance work on the next FARP. Capturing the airfield of Mineralnye proved challenging due to the protection of the Juliett SAM site. Please see the map below and also the current state of the scoring as of last night.

If I knew what that was I would get excited as well ! The chart is on the "kneeboard". A feature all planes in DCS have. They list all the airfield layouts and approaches / runways etc.

@wingflyr - If you buy this you also get the second version which WILL HAVE player flyable air-to-air refuelling. May be quite a way down the road though. In the interview they talk about the possibility of flying a mission escorted by an F18 to drop cargo and then re-fuelling him on the way home.

Interview with developers. No code from the free mod. They started from scratch with the same team.

Despite reduced forces we still managed to gain ground and captured another FARP. Special for me as I think I had my first 1000 point night taking out the majority of a FARP (thanks to @BluBear for taking out the last two targets to enable it to then be captured), achieving a mission completed bonus and also doing some pilot CSAR.

Shame 352nd have not learnt from flying this sort of mission, they are making the same mistakes last night as they did more than a year ago when we did it the last time "sorry for crashing into one of your tanks, my controls locked up and I could not avoid it", sound familiar? Not good in my opinion.
