T_O_A_D's glowing balls really do work ! Using some green reflective tape (designed to be attached to clothing) I added some strips to a small ball (nicked from one of the kids "connect 4" games) and fitted it to the top reflector of my vector clip. The left and right movement seems to be ok, it was the looking up that lost track. This fix really does seem to have solved this problem. Great post T_O_A_D and thank you Plus 1 karma from me. Friar

Priory of St Oleg Newsletter Ok, Ok, so its been a while since I have published a newsletter, and I know some of the, how shall I say, more senior members of the Community will be saying that’s its about time too. Priory Elections Some of you will have noticed that I have not been around the Community much lately. This is because I was called back to the Priory which is located in a castle, high in the mountains in Liechtenstein, to attend the voting in of a new Abbot. The election was brought about by the sad demise of the previous Abbot. It seems that an unfortunate combination of circumstances conspired against him. Rumours saying that he was found trying on stockings and suspenders for a friend to see if they would fit as he wanted to buy them as a present and knew he was the same size, others had said that he had felt hungry and had picked up an orange in his mouth as he thought It would be good for his 5-a-day. Just how to come to stumble and get his hands trapped through the bars of his bed are a little mystifying, but it seems that on the fateful day, the saints were not on his side. So, the Priory has had to undergo its election process. These events can sometimes turn a little nasty, this campaign, however seems to have gone quite well. It was in danger of turning however when one of the candidates, Hilary Clitoris, appeared to be getting a little too much coverage from certain departments within CNN. Hilary had done well to reach the heady heights of Candidate for Abbot. She was originally married to one of the other Friars. They met when she joined the Priory under the Sisters Of Fallen Virtue programme. Friar Bill had picked her up in a bar and could see that she needed help.

Hi roger, i have done all of that, they dont want localhost used, its mysql2.000webhost.com if i was to give you access, any chance of you having a quick look to where i am going wrong and just put me straight?

need a bit more help please I have created an account with 000webhost and am trying to get pixelhost to install but I am stumped as to what to do and how to go about it. i have the install instructions, but can not get it to work

I have been asked by someone to help her daughter who is at Uni to put a site togther to display her photographs. I am not sure yet how many pictures are involved but she is looking to use it professionally. I have been looking at a site that will do a 1kgb with a free domain name for $35 per year (year 2 onwards) which I did not think was too bad. Also Roger, whilst I have your attention... have you had a chance to re-set my email yet? Cheers Colin

Can anyone reccomemned a good web host that is either free or very cheap. I have been trying to use zymic.com but have been finding it very hit and miss as to the way it runs.

Ok, following my leaving work and me taking my PC with me, I now have a little dilemour. I have made it the main PC (the on which I fly) and have now installed the sound and graphics cards. It has the same CPU as my old Dell (2.80GHz) but has slightly more memory at1.5gb as opposed to the 1gb in the Dell. This machine, a HP d330 uT(P133T), running xp pro sp2, has the ability to take a maximum of 4gb of memory where as the Dell was maxed out at 1gb. I am using the same 17" CRT monitor and run at 600x800 resolution Now my question is.... Should I spend approx £45 pounds on expanding the PC3200 memory (which has to be done with matched pairs, the current slots are taken with 2x512 and 2x256),with 2x1gb to replace the 2x256, to 3gb or should I do something with the graphics card which is a Geforce 6800 with 128mb of on board memory. I cant do both and cant spend much more than £50-60 pounds. Any offers on what would give the best improvment per pound?

Perhaps a "Doh!" type question but is it ok to use a usb2 extention cable when connecting to a usb1 cable. I am preparing to move my stuff over to a "new" computer and want to extend by trackir cable. Cheers Friar Edit By Friar:

Found what it was I was doing wrong. I was reducing the size of the circle around the base to a size that was too small. When I leave it at the default diameter, it works. Thats one for the memory banks! LOL Cheers and thanks again. Friar
