My goodness. What devastation!

Used the conf.ini settings provided by Chet. No change, the purple is still there. I try copying a clean 4.09m from backup computer and then apply the patch and see what happens.

Installed UP 2.0 to my back up computer and the Swordfish is now ok. Used the same patch as before which suggests it might be in my conf.ini settings. Should be able to find out what caused the purple colour via the process of elimination, which I will do this morning.

Ran feckmods version 134 but the problem is still there. I will install the game from scratch on my backup computer and see if that makes any difference. It has a Nvidea 7950GTS.

I ran Feckmods a couple of weeks ago but will run it again. I'll delete the folder for Swordfish first. Not had this problem before Nick.

No change after reinstalling video drivers. Can I reinstall the Swordfish?

I am using the Cat 7.11's Jabo, generally regarded as the best drivers for the X1950XTX in Crossfire.

Hornet is one of my all time favourites. Too bad they didn't save a few for us to enjoy. Another one of my faourites is the Folland Gnat. I don't want to post any links as Photobucket has apparently been hit by some trojans.

They are flush with cash from oil and natural gas. If they can mass produce at substantially less cost than a Raptor and sell them to India and China, they just might be on to something.
