Here's a thought: Could we start doing BoX sessions on Thursdays, alternating with CloD, could maybe decide at the last moment, whoever shows up and then vote? Here's why I thought about this: - Currently, CloD sessions are nice, but rather limited on the number of people joining 'm. - Currently, BoX online servers are a bit... well, there are some downsides to them. The idea is to host Coops for Box. But we need some stuff/thingies for that: - A host - who can? (I cannot currently, as I do not know how, but should not be too difficult) - Good mix of Coop missions, as I understood, the best ones are very new, and made for the latest planesets ie. Kuban. So, some editing needs to be done So, what do we think about this? Who can do what? And how? Won't be starting on short notice - just throwing it out here!

We are getting close to having a dedicated BoX session me thinks... I'm gonna start a new thread on that.

Haha, sure do! After applying the new paste, the temps as such during load seem reasonable, but after running CloD and/or DCS, the Max value ended up at being 81C ! Not really an improvement ... lol Maybe the CPUID HWMonitor is not up to its task? There was a recent update of it though...

The user.ini file you need to alter would be in the My Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder!

I really wanted to just book a spare bed at that hotel, just in case I'd be there, you know, to have the option. And for sure not pay a thing in advance, so only if and should I show up, I'd have a bed and a bill... They would not have anything of it... weird now, is it not? Eehhmmm thanks, but that's the one that I scanned, edited and have printed on a decal sheet myself, so with the ID markings I want! I guess I could use the ones that were delivered... on a side note, what looks so horrible about them? Mind you, picture was taken under some weird yellowish LED lamp... so colour wise, it will be a bit off

A bit off-topic, but is there any possibility already for a dedicated server? Rotating Coops? And if so, do we have a need for it? And if so, what would it take resource wise? CPU Ghz etc?

Here's what better not to do: Use like 7 years old heat sink paste on yer brand new processor: So, I cleaned it up. The only paste I had left was the stuff already applied on the heat sink of a brand new cooler... scraped it off, applied some to the CPU and some to the original cooler... all is good. On load it now runs at 68C, instead of 75C ... Have ordered me some fresh stuff though... Tomorrow I shall pull the stuff apart again, and put some of it on... well, if this thing lasts in this setup that is. Oh well...

Lancaster should be available via JSGME, it will not be active, we only activate it in JSGME whenever we fly a Lanc mission, as it has some weird side effects in a lot of other missions...

Well, later today, around 8 PM-ish BST, we will have the regular 1946HSFX session. Not sure if you are still up to that version, but you could join in ...
