  1. I like that technique! I may have to use it on my moustache.

    Tiger Moth

Looking splendid old man! More pics please, I know it looks more complete than this
  3. Looking marvellous Mick! Fantastic work on the weathering.
  4. What Nick said! Admittedly for locals like Fenrir, Fruitbat and I, we would need a bit of a talking to if we didn't know one end of Kent and Sussex to the other by now!... However, like Artie jokingly said last night, the Island is only about the size of a city block right? And you soon get used to the shape of coast lines etc.
  5. Totally agree with these sentiments, CLoD setup was a nightmare at points and for a while it was the main reason I steered clear of it. However, through perseverance and the help of chaps like Fen and FT, I got through it and now have a happy setup which works really well for me. Everything is now second nature which allows me to enjoy want a fantastic sim it has become over the last few years thanks to some talented and dedicated volunteers. The immersion you experience in CLoD is something i've not found elsewhere yet, although DCS comes close. I hope you stick with it Col, it'll be great to fly wing with you. The more the merrier!
  6. As reported from Keypublishing forum: The Buchons are going to The Boschung group of Switzerland, have a look / read here: http://boschungglobal.com/messerschmitt.php After 40 years in a barn will it run?
  7. Uhh, ummm, what?! Incredible.
  8. Oh my, i've just read the SimHQ article and i'm so tempted with these... what can I sell...
  9. Morning chaps! It's Movember the 1st today and I'm clean shaven ready for a month of embarrassment and itching, all for a good cause. I'm changing the face of men's health by supporting #Movember. Please support my journey by making a donation if you can. http://mobro.co/twostix To paraphrase the words of our very own Fenrir, I'm gonna put a fanny duster there! Is anyone else taking part?
  10. I thought nothing of the sort old chap
  11. Ok mate, like I say it was just a suggestion and i'm not even sure if it's a problem in the first place!
  12. Could a rule be introduced that would only let in pilots with 'DD_' in their callsign? (Can we even do that?) Or is it really that much of an issue? I don't know, just a suggestion.
  13. Woah! Superb pilotage there.
  14. Very good.
  15. Same here. Thanks Gec.

    Woah...!

Cheers buddy, I shall have a look at those and book in a slot with your good self in the near future!

    Woah...!

I wouldn't even know where to begin with proper modern combat missions. I can get my F-15 off the ground, do some nice aerobatics and land it, that is all! The only extra thing I can do with the A-10 is throw some depleted uranium at the earth
  18. Well it is true, MH415 was flown to Spain for filming and appears in some scenes attacking the Casa '111's I believe.
  19. Thanks Pooka. Yeah I read that as Battle of Britain 'movie' which is more accurate.
  20. I must have missed that first time round Arthur! It's not just me that thought they looked a little 'used' at 50 odd then, haha! Talking to one of the Polish Colonels about the difference in attitude between his fellow countrymen and us brits when they arrived. 'I hated the Germans, in fact I still do'.
  21. Many comments here sum up my exact thoughts! Glad you're enjoying your new module Kira, i'm hoping to try my Sabre tonight Did someone mention a monthly DCS evening...
  22. Glad you enjoyed chaps, I certainly did. @Nick - i'm sure I read certain items were headed a bit further south than DX. Meier Motors in Germany has been mentioned.
  23. I believe this was mentioned here a little while ago, when the news first broke that Connie Edwards was finally selling the warbird contents of his Texas barns. Here is a nice little article and a great accompanying video of the man himself and the time capsule of a collection that will allegedly soon be winging it's way to Europe, if you pardon the pun! http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Video/All-News/2014/August/Pilot/f_talltale
