The famous Navy ace has passed away aged 96. Those that have been to Duxford will recall that the TFC F6F is painted in his colours (some reports suggest there are parts of his original aircraft included in the restoration). Ray Hanna, at his finest No camera trickery here gentleman, that is the master at work.

The track is an edited 'Recognizer' by Daft Punk from the Tron Legacy soundtrack. It's fantastic, heavily influenced by Hans Zimmer no doubt.

Good isn't it, isn't it though?! I've admired his '434 solos very much over the last few years, it's clear to see now how he seems to capture that 'Hanna' method of flying. He had so many great mentors including the man himself!
