  1. Could a rule be introduced that would only let in pilots with 'DD_' in their callsign? (Can we even do that?) Or is it really that much of an issue? I don't know, just a suggestion.
  2. Woah! Superb pilotage there.
  3. Very good.
  4. Same here. Thanks Gec.

    Woah...!

Cheers buddy, I shall have a look at those and book in a slot with your good self in the near future!

    Woah...!

I wouldn't even know where to begin with proper modern combat missions. I can get my F-15 off the ground, do some nice aerobatics and land it, that is all! The only extra thing I can do with the A-10 is throw some depleted uranium at the earth
  7. Well it is true, MH415 was flown to Spain for filming and appears in some scenes attacking the Casa '111's I believe.
  8. Thanks Pooka. Yeah I read that as Battle of Britain 'movie' which is more accurate.
  9. I must have missed that first time round Arthur! It's not just me that thought they looked a little 'used' at 50 odd then, haha! Talking to one of the Polish Colonels about the difference in attitude between his fellow countrymen and us brits when they arrived. 'I hated the Germans, in fact I still do'.
  10. Many comments here sum up my exact thoughts! Glad you're enjoying your new module Kira, i'm hoping to try my Sabre tonight Did someone mention a monthly DCS evening...
  11. Glad you enjoyed chaps, I certainly did. @Nick - i'm sure I read certain items were headed a bit further south than DX. Meier Motors in Germany has been mentioned.
  12. I believe this was mentioned here a little while ago, when the news first broke that Connie Edwards was finally selling the warbird contents of his Texas barns. Here is a nice little article and a great accompanying video of the man himself and the time capsule of a collection that will allegedly soon be winging it's way to Europe, if you pardon the pun! http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Video/All-News/2014/August/Pilot/f_talltale
  13. Isn't it though. Smashing. FT, I like the idea of steps of three hours

It's always interesting putting faces to names/voices! Glad you had a good time.
  15. I'm a little over half way through watching this little gem of a film from the BBC archives of 1969. Unfortunately, I fear it may only be viewed this side of the pond, but by all means give it a go! Here's the synopsis: At a reunion of No. 501 Squadron at RAF Kenley, surviving Battle of Britain pilots gather to swap stories and recall the events of 1940. The 'Man Alive' team also visit some of the squadron members at their current homes and places of work to find out whether being part of such an elite band of men has had a lasting effect on their lives. http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/battleofbritain/11401.shtml
  16. I was just about to post this! Great minds think alike eh? Nice little video, gonna miss her
  17. So far i've only set up controls for the P-51, F-15, A-10A and Huey. Something tells me i'll be adding this baby to that list soon though!

    Salute Dad

    That's great news Colin
  19. I'd love to get to La Ferte Alais one of these years, however I can't imagine we'll see flying like this again! (8mins 24s... !!)
  20. That is excellent! What a labour of love it must have been to produce. Lots of patience required methinks
  21. I was just thinking the same thing Nick. Maybe a dogz trip to London is in order before the year is out? I could do with visiting the IWM at Lambeth. Never went before it was refurbed, let alone since.
  22. I do miss black 6…
