Rudder profile doesn't match and the tail is too high set for a 51 methinks. I don't think it is a genuine Jap aeroplane, i'm now thinking something modified for a film perhaps?

You left the reg on the tail though Swep This appeared at flying legends a few times, an interesting aircraft. It would perform simulated dive bombing runs, with the undercarriage down if I recall (they double as airbrakes the same as on the corsair I understand). Shame it's been absent for a while, I read only the other day engine reliability is proving a problem and it doesn't leave home much anymore.

Hmm, some of the pics are incorrect too. That is not an La7, but an American radial engined Yak 3 I believe. Incredible numbers if accurate though!
