Er....its been so long since I set this stuff up that I might be talking out of my backside but yeah, I think thats normal.
I set the British stuff up first so my prop-pitch lever works correctly with the Spitty and Hurricane but accepted the fact that the '109 pitch would then act in reverse. This isn't so much a problem for me as I fly the '109 in auto-pitch during cruise and combat and just keep an eye on the ata gauge.
I think the only way to get around it is to reverse control settings as you said but thats a pain so I've got used to it.
HMS Rodney and some Tribal class destroyers. New ships to be put into the game with Team Fusion's V5.0 patch. Along with a new map and some new (flyable) aircraft. Sometime.
I've seen this before. In fact I think I posted it here a few years back when I discovered the BBC site has that fantastic archive of material.
They like to keep it well hidden don't they?
As to the doco; I thought it was really fascinating, especially having two Polish AF Colonels turn up! Interesting attitude that some of these vets had to the bob twenty-nine years after the event too. The other thing that struck me was how old they all looked. Most of them were around fifty years of age when this was filmed - the same age as I am now (ish) - but they seem to look at least ten years older than that.
I think it can be seen overseas as this is a purely BBC production too. One last thing; the theme music - ah memories!
I agree with you Jabo but in the case of the pony isn't it still possible to build one from new parts anyway? Didn't some one keep making what was basically a P51 right up to the early seventies?
( he said - straining a limited knowledge to its very limits, lol. )
o.k. Pooka. First of all go; Computer>Programme Files(x86)>1C Game Studios>IL2Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad>Data. In here you will find a file called input. Right click on it and copy.
Then just paste it on your desktop.
Now you'll need to delete the whole of IL2 Battle of Stalingrad. You can do this through Control Panel>Programmes>delete programmes. After deleting, restart your pc.
When you've done that go to the IL2 Sturmovik website.
Log in and click on Profile. There will be a red box with the bottom option showing 'download'. Click on this and it will want to download some 350mb of launcher. Don't save it, just click run. When this has finished downloading you'll have the game launcher back. Click on that and it will download the new version of the game itself - about 3 gigs worth.
When this has completed you can run the game again. Do it once then exit. Now go find your data folder again and put your saved input folder in there. It will probably ask you whether you want to overwrite the one already present. Yes you do.
Now fire up the game again and you should have your control settings back .
O.k., here we go again; BoS is now at 90% complete - whatever that means - and with this weeks major update we have the introduction of the campaign system and....groan...unlocks.

Note you have to completely un-install your old game and all it's components before re-downloading the whole thing from your profile page on the IL2 website.
This means having to reload all your control settings too. However, I made a copy of my Input folder from the old game and simply copied it over and hey presto! It works fine.
That was great!! Never been to Malta but it looks luuuverley. Really good pics.
Can I just say - as a confirmed old fart - Two wheels and an engine = good. Shorts, T-shirt, Flipflops, no gloves = Noooooooooooooooo!

I think you should be making it in matchsticks!
Edit; actually FT; why not come over for a weekend at my place? We can lift all the floor boards and recover all the bloody Lego thats fallen down there over the years. I reckon there's enough under here to build a full size replica.
