Dear Chaps, At last, after years of waiting, I appear to be eligible for superfast fibre broadband. This is quite exciting as my local internet speeds have until now depended on whether its raining outside or the wind is blowing in the "wrong" direction - I kid you not!! I'd like to get this right first time and not end up getting a poor deal from a less than fantastic provider soooo......who do you use and what has been your experience with them? I'm slightly wary of going back to BT - not least because one of my brothers has worked for them for 45 years and he says BT are shit! Any advice gratefully received

What issues are you having Mick? I ran Cliffs with the same processor pretty well. You've already got an Nvidia 680 haven't you? That is still a decent card and should have no problems with Cliffs. If you're having problems now I'd be very surprised if getting 970 would help. As Jabo suggested; getting a newer processor in the multi-core range would be a better option than a new graphics card.

No trim on a rotary yet. Except the all-moving horizontal stabilizer on the '109. After some angst about it on the BoS forum Jason said they would look into it but no news yet. However, daftly, having the 109 stab on an axis means this is open to an exploit wherein the more dedicated Luftwhinners have put the assignment for 109 stab on the joystick axis. Todd; don't waste any time on Reshade today. Tomrrow there will be a big, BIG update that will bring us version 2.006. Amongst a load of other stuff this will make the game run in DX11. That means everyone running SweetFX at the moment will have to re-apply it using the DX11 version. Standby for lots more info on applying SweetFX and Reshade version 3.
