I7 is significantly faster than the i3 - IIRC the i3 is a dual-core cpu whereas the i7 comes in 4, 6 (& 8?) core variants I appear not to be eligible for a free copy of the Nevada map although I think I've had the A-10 for yonks I can't find the original purchase info so meh.

I hope you've spoken to BT about your infinity connection. 7.8mbps is not good enough considering you get 40 or 80mbps at the street cabinet. If you're a long way from the cab the length of copper will have a detrimental effect but when I worked for them we were expected to provide a minimum of 20mbps and if we couldn't get that the customer was entitled to be put back on a standard (cheaper) broadband connection. I haven't tried it myself, but my computer is used for lots of things besides gaming and I don't want loads of things starting up unnecessarily. Thought it might be an option as works that way in Win 8.

Just a word of warning guys - there's a scam doing the rounds where you will receive a message from one of your Facebook friends inviting you to install a Dislike button to your Facebook account. DO NOT DO THIS - this link will install a rogue app which will take control of your account posting messages to your wall and sending invites to your friends. Well, firstly you've got the wrong installer package - I'll link the right one to you when I get to the PC tomorrow (remind me if I forget - bit...erm...tipsy right now) - secondly you can't upgrade win 7 home premium to win 10 pro - that only works for win 7 pro or ultimate. You can use the media thingy you used for the upgrade to download an ISO image of the software you can burn to a DVD. If you have upgraded to windows 10 before you can reinstall again without needing a licence key. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
