  1. If there's sufficient interest, I'd be happy to look into starting this up again - we have a lot of new fliers who haven't had the opportunity to experience this type of competition within the group and with GBS now we have a whole new planeset to play with.
  2. Yeah it did Chris. So Perf & Zook will now need replacing. No word on who with yet.
  3. You're coming over next year Gary?
  4. Most PCs these days don't have a PS2 socket (I know mine doesn't) - and I think those that do are dedicated for mouse and/or keyboard. Does the joystick even work without the throttle?
  5. Oh my...
  6. Funnily enough, that occurred to me right after I posted.
  7. First one there gets the beers in Sid - you know the rules...
  8. We've had several Dogz in attendance at every Legends since 2007, so hopefully we'll do the same again next year. We've not been getting to Duxford that early as the access is reasonably straight-forward but this may need to change a bit at Sywell where country lanes seem to be the order of the day. Breakfast and coffee are always on the roster!
  9. Unfortunately not without major rework, FM data might be useable, basic models perhaps but ultimately GBS uses a different (newer) game engine and because of this so much data will have to be generated, it might almost be worth starting from scratch.
  10. I should be available also.
  11. Likewise Chris, Many hundreds of hours work, testing, bug chasing seem to have come to nothing. Unfortunately, CloD is just too 'niche' and although that was fine when the genre was just that one game, with the rise of GBS & DCS and the lack of a major publishers support, I feel that, ultimately, it's doomed. I fully expect that somewhere down the line, 777 will release a BoB GBS module (after all with the Normandy map, most of the relevant area will be covered) and CloD will slip into the sunset. I'll be sad about that partly because it means there'll be no Beaufighter in any current game but mainly because competition, even in a tiny genre, has to be a good thing.
  12. Taken the liberty of updating your first post Chris.
  13. Right then, post-lockdown dogz outing - sounds like splendid plan. Might need to be at quite short notice with the winter weather coming on.
  14. I believe this is the case I was considering joining FOSA to get the lowdown - it's only £5 for the year and you get a badge!
  15. Possibly Dave, but it'll be ticket only - as long as you're there before the flying starts, does it matter too much?
  16. I think it's going to be a case of it is what it is. We've been spoilt by Duxford's accessibility for, well, ever! Most GA type airfields don't have that level of access. I propose a recce sometime in the new year - anyone up for that?
  17. 19mins drive = 3hrs of queuing
  18. Same here Chris, just picked up a family room there at £150 - Corby reservation still held if anyone needs a room later. Indian or Thai on the Friday evening? Decisions, decisions.
  19. Most, Arthur, yes
  20. Not always Tony, we've had DB powered 109's there in previous years (although they're officially re-engined buchons) but there is an original Emil hidden away at Biggin Hill and there's another in the UK as well but I can't remember the details.
