We would need a good DCS turnout to make it work. How many would/could turn up on a regular basis. As Delta says we get 4 or 5 on GBS nights but we usually go to a public server (no map & icons) which I am non to keen on and I feel that the numbers are too low for meaningful coops because of big maps and if you die then it could be a long wait before you fly again.

I note that the new improved Korea sim isnt generating any interest with the Dogz. I dont think I will bother with it or the Odessa map and collector planes if there isnt more interest in the GBS series. It looks to me like the new shiney toys coming for DCS will kill off GBS for the Dogz. Who else feels the same?

If you do go for a new card Gigabyte has a good returns set up at Milton Keynes, with some other brands you might have to return it to the far east. The Aurus vesion gives 4 years warrenty but are the more expensive varients.

It might be worth looking at "pre loved" cards from CEX as you get a 2 year gaurentee. I might go down that route next year, trading the 3090 ,as apparently its working fine, for a 4090. As I suspect my issue is PSU related I will probably get one that supports the 40 series. Still using VR? PS if your old puter does die, put the drives in your new case and you wont loose amything. My old system drive is now my download drive and it works well.

When is the other exciting box arriving?

I think there is a program to do that Delta. I think that Wingy has used something to copy binds over.

Any chance of running on a Sunday?

I enjoyed the mission and agree that more AI and available airframes will make it even better. It felt a bit like the old days with so many on TS and flying. Could always do with more DDs joining in.

I have asked the WingWalkers if we could use some of their missions on our server with mods on. this was the reply No problem, you should have the files already for every map you have flown on your computer in your dogfight/GB_PublicServer folder. You need to start the mission editor and enter the name of the mission's file with the .msnbin file extension as the master file with the .mission extension does not download online. Once you have loaded the mission into the editor with the .msnbin file save it to your computer and that will generate a new .mission file from the msnbin file and then you can load the mission normally.
