I've decided to list some of the tweaks that I've had done and still do when I reinstall XP and or feel that something a little extra can be done to get which ever game running a little better.

Yeah dot spot is awful in IL2 and I think they should re-visit the large dot patch that they created along with a secondary DOT range setting to show size difference. Thanks again

Hi All, I'm not thinking of upgrading my monitor any time soon as my trusty CRT is still going strong and high resolutions are something I'm not too interested in (yet) but I was wondering if any of you have an LCD and what you thought of it for gaming.

Well I updated the bios on my DFI Infinity board this morning and promptly filled my breeches!! LOL BIOS updated fine but upon reboot nothing!!!

If you've patched up but it still says 407 then it sounds like the files may not be where they should or the all important files.sfs wasn't overwritten as part of the extraction process.

I think it should've been but when I checked during game play it was at standard stock speed of 700 so I went looking for some info. ATI's CCC overdrive feature hasn't really worked for me even on the X850.

Hi All, ATI X1950 Pro Ulitmate Manufacturers Page Well I've had this card a little over a couple of weeks and on my travels through the various screens to tweak and setup the display drivers I noticed that the memory clock was not was it should be according to both www.overclockers.co.uk or Sapphire. The card settings are: 580 Core and 800 Mem.

Mmmm.. things I fired... A semi deflated hydrogen balloon up an open fire chimney. (not lit at the time). -
You'll also find that the majority of the errors will be missing references to files you've had and then deleted in the normal day to day stuff.
