Salute @Ben griffiths and welcome to the pound. (gonna need a nickname/call sign ) We are mainly UK based so our time slots will hopefully suit. We have some European, North American and Canadian members as well. We use TeamSpeak for our comms. Our flying sessions tend to get going around 20:00hrs with guys dropping into TeamSpeak from about 19:30 onwards. Monday: DCS Tuesday: GBS Wednesday: Nothing Formal Thursday: DCS Friday: Nothing Formal Saturday: TankCrew Sunday: GBS We have a couple of special events running at the moment. On Alternate Sundays we are running a P38/Typhoon co-op (dead is dead for that session) campaign. This starts at 21:00, on comms by 20:30 if you want to take part. The next session is this coming Sunday I believe? On Sunday 10th July we will have our next round of a combined arms (tanks and planes) dogfight match (if killed you can re-spawn) against another squad (plenty of flying slots available also tank slots if tanking is your thing) As Painless said, we do not take our selves too seriously, we realise that Life V1.0 often gets in the way of playing games away from the family so we just ask if you said you were going to attend but can not you pop a quick message in forum to let us know. If you want to learn new stuff there are plenty here that will be willing to assist. We do not run formal training sessions or have player ranks. Someone will drop you our TEAMSPEAK information via a PM in the forum. Watch out for links from supposed members asking you to play with them, we have had a few attempted domain attacks recently. No member will contact you with a link to follow to play with them or provide information. Please be vigilant. We do not have any female members so if one contacts you, watch out! I am looking to go by train (being an old git with short arms and deep pockets, I have a free travel pass...) Easy journey from my place. train to Finsbury Park then change to Potters Bar if any one wanted to crash at my place on the Friday night and join me "letting the train take the strain" (being an old git with short arms and deep pockets, I have a free travel pass...)

May I ask where you hail from, so we can give you an idea of time zones etc. Most of the times we publish are UK times but we do have a North American / Canadian group that try and join the UK / Europe guys when they can but also fly in their own time zone. Salute Gentlemen, With the event just a few days away now, I would like to know who is available for the first event on Saturday and subsequent sessions (dates and times to be confirmed). This event should run for a number of weeks (hopefully) and I will also push for a Sunday evening or two as well. So far signed up (thank you) Friar (obviously) Sid FT Crash Delta7 (when possible)

Salute Racal and thank you for responding to my email. One of the major ethos of the Dogz is that we realize that life v1.0 very often gets in the way of our hobby. We fly Great Battles now and DCS. We fly with mods enabled but the only one we "request" you use is one we have for icons, but we can explain more. Our flying schedule is as follows (UK times) Sunday and Tuesdays IL2 GBS from about 19:45 onwards. We start with a dog fight map kill or be killed, then move to co-ops around 20:30 Monday and Thursday DCS from about 20:00 Saturday we have Tank Crew nights. There are lots of people that will be willing to help on any number of subjects. We use TeamSpeak for our comms. If you are still interested we can ping you the details. I have created a short video that explains the features of the Arras Campaign mission

With a little over 2 weeks to go we need to start planning. This map allows for tactics to influence the battle and we need to have an idea of what we want to do if we are to have any success. I will start a thread in the Private section just in case... Salute Friar

What is pretty much the final map is now available on the Tank Special Dog Fight server (usual co-op password) - Please check it out- The campaign will hopefully run for a number of weeks Hopefully you will be able to participate on a few of the sessions, if not a Saturday I may try and do a Sunday as well.
