1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted October 23, 2011 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted October 23, 2011 Does anyone know, to save me doing loads of testing of AA units that DO NOT attack advancing ground units and stick to aircraft only. In my tests so far for the North Africa event, the 37mm AA will turn on ground units and rip it to shreds, which is not want I want. I am including the 88mm for the Germans because for them this was a deadly anti tank weapon. Jedipedia? Dino? Snacko? anyone............. Many thanks Cheers Friar
2. Administrators fruitbat Posted October 23, 2011 2. Administrators Share Posted October 23, 2011 since they reworked all the anti-aircraft and artillery stuff in UP3.0, all the stuff which i have related to this including a few nice excel worksheets in now useless. basically, unless they've documented this over at ultrapack, no-one knows anymore. another example of well intentioned behaviour, which cocks up mission building, something that UP3 is riddled with. Jediteo
An old trick is to obscure their view of the battlefield, by putting sandbags or something in the way, it is a bit tricky to get it work. I used to do it on the bofors guns. This however restricts their ability to fire at very low aircraft.

Kira
FT, may I assume correctly that the numbers at the ends of the lines are the numbers of individual units involved? Seems to make sense, just not sure.
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted October 24, 2011 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted October 24, 2011 Kira, The last number is army designation, 1=Red, 2=Blue The number in front of that is the max number of objects in one line in the mission ie. in one object in the FMB.... But, that's all old information, as we now can have up to 12 shermans in UP3 RC4 ... I think ...
