CaptJackG Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 We were coming from LIBG (Taronto, Italy) to KCHS (Charleston, SC) yesterday and we passed 2000 ft under a C17 so I tried some cell phone shots. Kind of hard to see and then one of the PFD/ND and the Upper and Lower EICAS displays. We were over France when these were done with only a little over 8 hours remaining before reaching KCHS. Sweper Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 ~S~ CJ. I enjoy watching photos from real life flying, especially when sombody has it as occupation. I often visit this site: http://www.airliners.net/ where you can find really nice photos from all kinds of differnt aircraft. My advice is that you buy a point & shot digital camera and provide us Dogz with some more nice pics Quote

GreyKnight Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Nice photos CaptainJG, all you needed there was BG to call you and say "20 seconds!" and that C-17 would of been toast! Quote

CaptJackG Posted July 5, 2009 Author Posted July 5, 2009 Sweper In that top Dreamlifter photo take in Preswick, Scotland on 26 June was actually my FO landing. I was the Captain and we had arrived from LIBG to refuel and then proceeded to Charleston, SC. Quote

Looks like they take a lot of punishment when landing full loaded. Swep Quote
