Crash Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 Yes FT he came to Mold and met some of the family that lived in the house he was taken to. I really like the part were he was given a cup of tea. Typical of the Brits Quote
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted July 2, 2016 1. DDz Quorum Posted July 2, 2016 The way I read it, was he got the tea the night they were shot down? For the rest he's only announcing the trip ... no report of it, nothing in that document ... Quote
Crash Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 He did. There was a newspaper article about the meeting but it didnt say much, except he was given back the signaling lamp he had when he was shot down and gave the family a stein. The crash site of the Heinkel is about 1 Km from my house. Quote
