AMDfan Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I am creating a new map for training. However when saving, I get a save error which says "Chief '0 chief' only has one waypoint. The only thing I assigned waypoints to is players. Everything else is stationary. Why do I keep getting this error! Quote
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted December 12, 2006 1. DDz Quorum Posted December 12, 2006 I have come across this m8, it's usually a ground unit that is not a stationary type and therefore needs to be given at least one waypoint. There are others more experienced than I in FMB who may or may not confirm this, but that is where I would start to look! Quote
FlatSpinMan Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I agree with "The Enk". Search through every coloured - ie red or blue- ground object vehicle. Actually, maybe the view filters would speed that up. Quote
AMDfan Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 Not really sure what happened...but its all fine. saved ok...now I just gotta go in and make it to where the stationary ships Im using for decoration dont fire on and destroy the targets at the gunnery/bombing range. Should be a useful training map when its all said and done...it's big enough it could even be used as a Axis v Allies type friendly dogfight map with ooposing forces flying in from 2 different ends of the island. 1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted December 13, 2006 1. DDz Quorum Posted December 13, 2006 to make an object not fire / reduced fire you have two options 1. set the sleep time to a long period, i have working with this recently and think the max is 60 mins. it will not fire during this period. 2. set the rate of fire to a high number, 100 will give virtually no aaa, it is a very slow re-load time. 1 is normal. 3. you could also set the skill to novice to reduce how good they are at hitting you. hope that helps Quote

Beebop-RIP Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 "Sleep" period can be set to 99:99. Quote
AMDfan Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 ok...now that I got that down, how can I set it so that the player gets a choice of aircraft in which to fly? So like say we could have multiple bomber pilots practicing formation flying, carpet bombing, and so forth, or say fighter training. Quote
