I hear an unofficial rumour that it may have been an unsecured load that slid back and put the CoG too far back, it makes some sense, with good visual met conditions like that the pilot is unlikely to have put the aircraft into such an attitude.

Yeh I could chew on the COG, or some sort of Mechanical/hydraulic catastrophe, but not knowing how the aircraft is built, controled and back up systems if any I'll just have to wait for an official investigation.

 

All I know is I immediatly thought of  Capt. Jack and the fact he fly's cargo also.

 

Selfishly thankful, he was not involved, but sorry for all involved regardless.

Conditions were gusty at the time of takeoff (20 knots gusting to 30), and there had been reports of low-level wind shear. The fact that the gear was never retracted hints that something drastic must have happened soon after lift-off.

My heart goes out to the families of the crew.
