  1. Hi Jake and welcome, I'm the resident bullet whore.....well I always seem to be catching them in the face, just hope you are going to be kinder than the rest of the mutts here. Bongo
  2. Priceless, I loved this one, I really hope it is true.
  3. Superb set of extra pics have come up https://picasaweb.google.com/114682566226043469349/Zdj_samolot?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCKjxkt6rkNTFKg&feat=directlink#
  4. The prop hub prob got sheared off at the final moments of the crash landing thats why its not too far away, did anyone else notice the gear was also down?....at least the tailwheel was extended.
  5. Should we ask how it comes a politician owes you a favour?
  6. I read in an article they are Mk14's and it's actually just 16 aircraft with a further 4 only potential, quite amazing story on how the chap came to start looking for these things, he overheard a group of US veterans talking about weird stuff they did during the war and one guy mentioned burying these spits, the story sounds like it's gone beyond just speculation, apparently this guy has made a borehole to get cameras to look at the crates and they look fine, the location is secret. TOAD the spelling you are looking for is Cosmoline....but that stuff was really for preserving firearms http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/asia/burma/9204921/British-farmers-quest-to-find-lost-Spitfires-in-Burma.html
  7. You quickly realise that if you filled her cranial cavity with bread dough she might become a bit smarter.
  8. We knew that would get you fapping furiously
  9. Thats more of a chandelle than a loop, but a loop in a helo is old news, the Lynx can do loops and rolls without crashing and it's quite an old lady now.
  10. I don't have those ratings...only a Learjet 45, I have been given a few leads for work in places like Nigeria.......to be honest with you unless youre going to send me to places like that with a gun and several thousand armed buddies and the prospect of coming back after a few months with several gazillion pounds in my pocket then I will pass , thanks for the offer though, I have a couple of months notice left and I'm rethinking my future.
  11. Thank god you said Broker......there is still hope for you to make a career, the middle man type organisation is always secure, I almost regret becoming a pilot, I've had 2 jet jobs in the last 3 years and the second is about to end with no obvious prospects for the future. How to make a small fortune in aviation?......start with a huge one..
  12. See the expression on my avatars face?..............I look like that right now..........
  13. Ok folks, I have someone working on this for me now, stand down and thanks guys for the very generous efforts to help out. Craig
  14. That's even better, what I'm looking for is for one of you guys to purchase it for me in the states and ship it to me as a 'gift', so I don't end up having to pay the bloated import duty, and I would pay you via paypal with an added beer bonus.
  15. Hey y'all Would any of our benevolent friends from the Americas be able to help me out in aquiring one of these..... http://www.laserlyte.com/products/las-17h They cost around £90.00 here (yep thats twice the price) and I'm tired of getting reamed here in the UK just because we have to import every bloody thing, I'm pretty sure theres no export restriction on an item like this from the US, I will cover your costs via paypal. Thanks Craig
  16. Ironic.....I'm a devoted carnivore and I shoot small furry creatures....but I somehow feel sorry for all those maimed fish.
  17. the price of .22WMR and .17HMR for that matter are astronomical here in the UK, at least .30 cal could be home loaded so the costs probably balance. Besides semi auto centre fires are illegal here.
  18. are we talking virgins fibre optic here?
  19. My Ruger 10/22 magnum converted to a M1 carbine lookalike, genuine M1 stock dremmeled out to fit the ruger action, M1 magazine cut off and screwed to the 10/22 magazine.
  20. I saw Colin having a blub too....bloody wet boy......didn't he do exactly the same after he soloed the spit?........can't say I blame him....I would be in floods if I ever got to do it.
