  1. Fixed the Stuka's flying behavior: It appears they do need an object on the map to attack ... if there's no such object, and only a waypoint for bombing, they start their dive-procedure ( climb, wingover) and then abort it. Only to re-try it again a bit later, and so on, even when mid-channel. So, now they do dive onto their target....drop bomb and afterwards they try and fly home... in a German fashion...
  2. Happy Birthday Nick!
  3. Wow!
  4. (Have been looking for some of the coops he used to host regularly ... found some ... will try and run them today ... )
  5. Well, that is exactly how I tell AI when making 1946's missions, to go take position and move itself on it's way to the end of the mission, where it wasn't. There. Not. Ís. It's all about position it is, like where they wasn't there not here and SHIFT. Yeah, makes perfect sense ... I think...
  6. Thanks for the compliments Fatal, and welcome here! Pleased to to see your Squad gets good use of the server! As for my FMB skills, well, yeah, I got some... however, what you are suggesting... is all about coding, C## stuff... I am not at all familiar with that! (The spawning of AI flights in our server is being initiated from a self made external programme ... coded in VB) Anyways, your idea is a good one, would be very nice to have such an option indeed! (And a good start for me to learn the ins and outs of C##!)
  7. Welcome back! ... Hope the holidays them selves were something to remember fondly? Only if you exclude the 'We're home!" part probably... Tried booting it in Safe Mode? System Restore point? Is this the issue: click ? Good Luck! The dove has rings, take the legs off of it, then... no wait, take a high res picture of the rings, zoom in, record its numbers and then go online to www.lostdoves.co.uk and ...
  8. Happy Birthday !!
  9. It ís indeed a 'me' thing ... 40hrs a week I get to use and support lotsa pc's that are 'standardized', all the same shift, no fun there in trying stuff ... it's all 'managed'... On my own pc, I get to do my own thing ... Mind you, it's not a tool for me, it's more, it's also a toy
  10. Well, what if upgrading drivers is one of the few fun things one can be exited about as in ""HEY, THERE'S SOME new stuff !!" I mean, we only got 1946, what's new there? Just downloaded and installed the latest 'n' greatest for my 970
  11. You could try again to run that thingie, I fixed it by adding your IP address... yeah, it's only for members, but as your nick starts with dd, it should be all good, shouldn't it? What email address did you use that did not work? As far as I can tell, it states to send a PM to me, via these forums... oh well...
  12. That stick deflecting when rolling! Really. Is that where phrase 'stick throw' is comin' from?
  13. Congratulations !!
  14. Hm, for a once only change, I am not going to install any utility... and I'm pretty sure it does not do what is needed... Remember having seen it before... not of any use, only for really old games...
  15. So, I decided to upgrade the gaming rig as well. And, as others have reported - not here but on TS - an issue arised with controller assignment: For sure, Windows 10 can - and probably will - swap the order of the game controllers. Windows 7 showed the MS FFB2 as first and Bodnarboard as secondary. Windows 10: the other way around. So, one has to reassign the lot. But, I have a utility for that: Misty! Copy settings.ini to a temp folder, and rename it to settings.mis Open settings.ini in notepad, and look through it, find JoystickDevice# and JoystickPov# Now, if you have two controllers, you will find JoystickDevice0 and JoystickDevice2 For Pov, not too sure, I had a JoystickPov0 and JoystickPov4 Anyways, the idea is to swap them! So, use Misty on the temp folder, to first find JoystickDevice0 and replace it with JoystickDevice2 Next, find JoystickDevice1 and replace it with JoystickDevice0 Finally, find JoystickDevice2 and replace it with JoystickDevice1 Similar for JoystickPov0 and 4 (or whatever values are in your ini file.) That's all! Rename settings.mis back to Settings.ini, and copy it back to your pilot folder. And also to the Users folder, and name it Default.ini. If you do not know or have Misty, you can try and PM me the Settings.ini f, and I'll convert them. Edit: You do not need Misty, Notepad can do the same! It's got a search/replace function!
  16. Oh deary me, just googled 'Guy Martin'... and he was in the news just yesterday... (...) English rider Guy Martin comes off during the Dundrod 150 race on Thursday, sustaining injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. Martin, who was leading the Superbike race when he crashed at the Ireland's section of the Co Antrim circuit, suffered broken bones and underwent surgery on Friday The Lincolnshire man will miss the Ulster Grand Prix races at Dundrod on Saturday. 17. Guy at 0:43:00: "I've got my own Merlin, it's in the front room, and it runs" Brilliant! Thanks for that Sweper!
  18. Happy Birthday!!!
  19. You do not need to wait until it's offered to you, you can already download the ISO, or download/start a utility that'll create a bootable USB stick: (Not that you need the bootable part, you need to start the setup from within W7, as you'll be upgrading...) See this page: Download Windows 10On that page, a link is shown, to the Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool And here's Microsoft's words on the upgrade key stuff: (Some words colored red by me) " On the Enter the product key to activate Windows page, enter your product key. The product key should be in a purchase confirmation email if you bought Windows 10. It looks like this: PRODUCT KEY: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Note If you upgraded to Windows 10 on this PC by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer and successfully activated Windows 10 on this PC in the past, you won't have a Windows 10 product key, and you can skip the product key page by selecting the Skip button. Your PC will activate online automatically so long as the same edition of Windows 10 was successfully activated on this PC by using the free Windows 10 upgrade offer. Hm, hold on, maybe you can still do a clean install? But, like and successfully activated Windows 10 on this PC in the past ... now, what's the deal with that? I'm lost a bit... Good Luck!
  20. Note: In this install, the loss of FFB is still there in 1946, after having alt-tabbed out, and back in. Must be because of the upgrade from W7?
  21. Very nice! (Though at 00:30 in the first video the sound stopped? All silence?)
  22. There's a downside to an upgrade.... should you ever want a clean install or re-install, there's a good chance you will have to install Windows 7 first. And then upgrade to 10. Why? Well, I tried a fresh install first, but it would not have anything of it, my Windows 7 Key was not correct, could not use it for W10. The upgrade process does not ask for a key, so no problem there.
