  1. Our server is on a silly fast connection, so big downloads are not an issue. It will be slower in unpacking than ones gaming rig, but network speed is very high! (Also, disk space is not an issue)
  2. Occurs also when mission has been loaded and is running
  3. Colin, after last update server shows this when loading the DDServerSyria-0545hrs mission: Can click it away, it does not visibly crash, but wonder whether the mission will run okay?
  4. It's doing it again?
  5. A very good way Colin. You got me out of being lost in the desert, to me knowing exactly where I am. (Well, still in the desert, but... )😄
  6. bin\DCS_Updater.exe INSTALL SUPERCARRIER
  7. No, that's not it. It could not be that easy. For sure! Thanks a lot Colin!
  8. This is what I did back in 2020 to get it going: " I logged on to DCS on the server, using my own credentials, and thus I could install the Supercarrier module." But somehow, I cannot make that happen now.... dunno how or where to change te logon from auto ...
  9. Sure - I can try - and will try
  10. Rog, this morning I found the website unavailable. ('Took too long to respond, Pinging dangerdogz.com [136.243.91.112] showed Request timed out) Logged on to server, noticed this: Restarted the server (Power, Restart), and now it's available again. Edit: And it replies to the ping command now...
  11. Ah, nice... that'd explain it ... good show. It's smart cousin is using lots of memory though:
  12. That process is currently behaving itself...
  13. well, that did not make a difference. 😒
  14. Windows updates are installing now, I will reboot server and see if it makes a difference.
  15. I've seen it use the 8GB of memory, but I've not seen the high CPU on it before, that is new to me.
  16. I think it is to do with the changes Rog is making. Merging stuff onto one server.
  17. From what I have read on the DCS Dedicated Server: no performance gain there (compared to using --server --norender on a client installation), it may save some disk space. But we have plenty of that. Let's first focus on the missions and their complexity... ?
  18. We are running the normal client, but using --norender parameter, so it loads without any graphics output. Some config files make sure it uses the web interface, and starts hosting a mission automatically. I have not got a clue if a dedicated server version would make a difference.
  19. Sounds like a plan! (Wait, A or B plan?)
  20. After complete re-install of our DCS on the server, I also added this: DCS_updater.exe install WWII-ARMOUR The WWII assetpack, as I saw this in the logfiles: 2024-06-06 11:02:57.774 ERROR woCar (Main): Unit CCKW_353 is unknown , replaced with Leopard-2 2024-06-06 11:02:57.784 ERROR woCar (Main): Unit Willys_MB is unknown , replaced with Leopard-2 2024-06-06 11:02:57.800 ERROR woCar (Main): Unit Daimler_AC is unknown , replaced with Leopard-2 It's just a wild guess though...
  21. Could very well be... I do not see any 'stack overflow' messages in DCS's latest logfiles, but maybe DML has it own? Just to check - what are our next steps to try and analyze and fix this?
