Here's a trick for you: In game in the controls screen, just assign that particular key to a function you do not use (there must be some of those, I think). If it was assigned before, it'll tell you. If so, press Yes to assign it to the new function. Then do it again (assigning that key to the same new function)... the key will then be set free!

Friar, a suggestion regarding time of day in the mission: Can you forward time to a bit later in the afternoon, so the sun will not be shining straight into the audience's faces? We want them blinded by the beauty of our fligin', not by the sun! (Note: Not talking GMT or DogzTime or whatever, just mission-time!)

Thanks B! ("Improved field of reception" might be the one interesting thing for me, as in the past 5 years using the 3Pro, I've only had to disconnect/reconnect it maybe three times...and.... mostly due to my Guillemot stick I'm still on XP)

Could you tell us a bit more Brando? In what way is it better? I'm using a 3 Pro, and perfectly happy with it. (Only need to center once when starting the game) (Oh wait, I think I get it, I'm only using the 2DOF.... not the 6DOF that it's capable of, as I have the Vector expansion) (Sorry for the hijack!)

Mayhem, this setting occurs twice in conf.ini, once in [Render_DirectX] and once in [Render_OpenGL] You sure you got the correct one? (Better change 'm both...)

Do you know how to recognize them bad caps? I mean, have you seen 'm before? Sometimes damage to those is not that clearly visible... can you take pictures from close up to them?

+1 And when in doubt, take some pictures of the capacitors, and post 'm here... Also, what happens when you try and boot it without any memory modules, and without graphics card. Does is perform differently then?

Pooka, me thinks there'll be no need for you to check the settings once the new router has arrived: both your pc's are on automatic settings, they will both ask the router for an IP address, and the router will assign both of 'm a unique address. No need to check, no need to change! At Snacko: Yes, you're right. But your idea to bypass the router would not work, as Pooka said. The things we looked at we're the only things we could try... for now...
