  1. Clodwatchdog.ini is listening on port 21000 currently... better try 27010, as it's now listening to 1946
  2. That 4.3 patch added more in the atmospheric sense... meaning, on the way back to Manston, somewhere 'high' over Dover, I simply throttled back, steered towards Manston, gradually descending, and without looking at the altimeter, I was a able to just see and feel the correct descending approach... sure I kept an eye on the speedometer... One thing I now need to get a grip on are those last few feet, as I tend to let it sink from a few feet to high, bouncy bouncy...3x and + But to be up there, and look around, it now feels and looks if you really are up there at 10k feet... Well, I felt/saw it that way.... Clod is now brilliantly cool
  3. It is simple: as long as the aircraft or its remnants have not been found, as long as there's no proof of it landing/crashing, it is still flying...
  4. To me this sounds like a defective external harddisk. The slowness of the system when you plug the disk in, is caused by it trying to read from the disk, as it recognizes it as a hard disk, and wants to read its contents, -even if you do not try to directly access it. (You could check the eventlogs, and you will probably find a lot of errors related to the disk.) Disks in a state like this probably have bad sectors on them, where the disk finds an error, and tries to re-read the sector, and re-read and re-read... this will take a lot of time. Should you be patient and wait and wait and wait, eventually you will get an error popping up, or in the end it may read the disk correctly. But chances of that last thing happening are very small. To try and save/retrieve data from it, I would try and hook it up to a different system, running a different OS (like Windows 7, or better yet Ubuntu or some other Linux variant. There's a small (very small!) chance you will be able to access files on it that way.) Them external disks are nice, but also kinda prone to fail. Especially during startup and shutdown (power on/off) and plug/unplug. (Just yesterday at work I had a 1TB hard disk go fail, just because a disconnect / connect , it somehow wiped the entire contents of the disk... it was empty, unformatted... oh well ... I could re-partiton and re-format it in the end) Your problem however sounds like a physical defect... to me it looks like disk and data will be lost... Wait for others to chime in....
  5. JP, somehow the checker decided to give you HSFX6.... I have changed that, so run it again, it should give you HSX7.
  6. HSFX history mod EXPERT mode Perfect Map Textures Hakenkreuz Enabler SOUNDS default
  7. Kinda weird that this also happens at 4.12.2m stock, although we used JSGME to run it... HSFX history mod EXPERT mode Perfect Map Textures
  8. Yeah, well, that is to be expected, we're the dangerdogz after all ...
  9. yeah, those were them words I was looking for! Thanks!
  10. This is an old one, but I had never watched it before... MH434 and Ferocious Franky at Duxford in 2009... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=HOm4nOTHMlc
  11. Well, did some testing yesterday, with Sweper and Tolwyn. Whatever version used (HSFX Expert/Non-Expert, 4.12.2m stock) every other bomb drop results in weirdness... Even with Bomb Fuze diff setting off (4.09m timing) Also tried the Instant fuse... At moment of dropping, a viewer does not see the bombs drop, does not see any splash of the bombs hitting water, does not see the explosion, or, explosion occurs at a different moment. Even when I saw Sweper flying through Tolwyn's bombs-explosion-water-fountain, Sweper him self did not see/feel that explosion. (That was just after one explosion/splash of Tolwyn's bombs took me out ) It's all a bit weird. Could it be packet loss? The moment/fact the ordnance is dropped is missed by the client, and thus it does not see the bombs drop/hit/explode? Could be, but why can't I remember seeing it happen on earlier versions? (like 4.09m-ish?)
  12. As of - not sure - some HSFX version based on - not sure - 4.1x.x, we've seen weird things when dropping bombs on targets. - Explosion timing differs for player and for viewer - Bombs do not visually drop, but disappear in view of a viewer - No Explosion at all - So, here's what I'd like to suggest: Let's try for a while on non-expert mode... Now, apart from looking/sounding more interesting than non-expert mode, I could not really tell what the differences are between them two. Me thinks we started using it because of an SEOW? Anyways, what do we think? Shall we give it a try? Anybody aware of anything that will be significantly different when running non-expert mode? (No, I did not want a poll, I want a discussion! )
  13. Funny! Thank you!

  15. P12E!
  16. Yeah, send it in, and then find out we still won't have you, you ... you ... you ... GIT!
  17. W0t? Kelly? Is that you? Well well, the end must be neigh! Is it really now, is it? Can't believe it, kinda... You could just try and use Checkmods to update your install.... Your IP address hasn't changed, and I bet you haven't either! (Sure, you could also go the way of installing a stock 4.12.2m, then installing the HSFX 7 stuff, up to 7.02m.. Go for it!) Looking forward to hearing you on TS, and - yes, I always look at the bright side - looking forward to walk the beaches of Normandy with you, ie. piss off some Frenchies along the way! Edit: Yeah, just follow Crash's advice, better than mine, as in more complete...
  18. (Sorry, can't get on TS right now.... maybe in an hour ...)
  19. Run JSGME, disable all mods, enable stock 4.12m Try start the game. Quit game Run JSGME, enable history and expert. Fire up game again...
