  1. Yeah, that's a big mistery ... What I do know: * Your Sub connector on the main board also has Center speaker on it. * What software are you running for the soundcard? If it's a soundmax, or Realtek, the software settings can do weird things to sound and how/where it is output to. Maybe try and run without the software running? * Check the Windows sound settings... * Splitters do not really work well on these types of soundcards, I've tried several of them, and they do make channels go missing, in my experience. (As if the onboard soundcard checks/sees what is connected, then adjusts its output to it... I'm not really sure.) In the end, I have connected some wires directly from the SubWoofers's speaker to an amplifier, that has its output to my butkicker.... In the end, I have gotten myself a Roccat USB headseat, that has connectors to a standard 5.1 speakerset, same three outputs as on onboard sound. Now, I press a switch on the headsets' controller (sitting at my desk) and I switch between headset and speakers/butkicker. Finally I've found something that works consistenly (Surround Soundcard via USB) and with which I can easily switch between headset and speakers. Still, every now and then, in IL2 there's big differences in sound output, different per a/c type (to be expected) but also every now and then, differences in engine volumes, and output to the kicker. (I blame modded sounds for that, still would rather have stock sounds... and told tell me I can switch those on via GSGME, they are definitely not the same as stock....but, that's a different topic, sorry.)
  2. Here's a link to our TS server: click I am on it currently... just hanging there...
  3. Thanks, for beautiful pics. Can I have this one in a bit bigger format/size? Please?
  4. Can I take 'm all apart, and then leave 'm like that?
  5. Download the Vista ISO file, burn a new DVD... or did you also lose the activation code?
  6. To all who did not participate: You missed out on a great battle! Yes, we were seriously going for our goals, some intense flying going on, tactically and strategically, but yet there was enough room to have some good banter (nearly DD-style) as well! In short: Next time this is being announced, just show up... you Gits!
  7. Bump, Red bomber pilots needed!

There is a way... I will create you a special version... And attach it in a PM.
  9. Good show! So, it was that TS 'Keyboard and mouse only' setting? (Just checked my TS, and it is on that setting...) That's one to remember ....
  10. Looks like there's some conflict between TS and that Saitek SW/HW.... In TS, try and switch off Push-To-Talk. And/or 'Delay releasing Push-To-Talk' should you have it checked. For TS to work okay in 'all circumstances' it must look at all key and button presses, and filter out some of them... While programming, watching keys and buttons, and Capturing them can be very.... tricky. Finicky. Especially if a program needs to Here's a wild guess: Try and use the Task Manager to change the priority of the TS3Client process, or of the Saitek Software.... one up, to 'Above Normal', or 'High'... just for the fun of it Maybe if one of the two has the 'power/speed' over the other.... (Oh, disclaimer... if it all goes haywire, this was not my advice!)
  11. Any Whisper- or Hot keys in TS?
  12. What brand is the WLAN card? I heard the laptop is a Dell, what exact model is it? Next thing to try is to delete all drivers of the card, run some cleanup utilities, use safe mode and shift ... If you share those two details, I could try and see if I can think of a good cleanup procedure ... Keep on running Ubuntu?
  13. So, just today, I happened to be back in the same area, and took a stroll through the woods 'round there. But, the path I had been followed suddenly ended, so I just kept walking in the same general direction, as there appeared to be a road a bit further on. As you can see on the picture, there were some signs put up there, I approached them from their blind side. So, I got to that road, turn round and got to read them signs... Thanks very much for not putting up them signs on the other side of the wooded area, the part where I entered it... In short: There used to be a German Ammo depot in the woods there. There's been some efforts after the war to clean it all up, but the area is not clean yet... So one is advised to stay on the paths ... and not venture off them. Oh well, I saw nothing, heard nothing, and could continue my walk just fine... Darn, that would be so nasty, getting killed by WWII some seventy years later
  14. But, you also had one/some before installing them didn't you?
  15. Yes, you are, aren't you?
  16. Thanks Perf, will give it a go! The NVidia sound drivers are part of the HDMI functionality of today's Vidcards, the basically have one on them...
  17. Perf, could you be a bit more specific on the applied solution? We've got at least one that may have the same problem.... - Disable the Nvidia sound devices in Device Manager or - Uninstall the Nvidia Sound driver?
  18. So, next one on a Saturday? Hm. I could be tempted in... flying a recon aircraft... cool... Could be a nice alternative to the rather empty Ubizoo coops
