  1. Patience my dear, patience... I've just finished painting the underside of the bridge (no pictures, it's not that special..) Finished half of the railings, construction wise that is, still need to paint them. 12 pieces of 15 cm long... And then 12 more to go ... Or wait, me thinks 14 ... Oh, as for transporting it? Once the railings are in place, me thinks it's gonna need a custom transport-case to keep it safe. One with weels, and possibly an engine?
  2. Over at ATAG: "Do you have 5.1 system? This thread is for you" Basically, change Speakers=1 to =4 in your conf.ini. I have changed it, but have not checked the results yet!
  3. I just see it as a demo of the damage modeling ... lol
  4. Well, then go edit your profile, change the date there!
  5. Derailing? No problem, I'll play along: French traffic jam, a scene from the French movie 'Weekend' ... (though an American is commenting on this scene) Indeed, they do not make 'm like that anymore! (Movies in this case) Oh, BTW, by using google in a more clever way (like searching using Dutch words instead of English) I found the 1/64 models I need are very much available via Dutch retailers as well... so, more cars are on their way to the Bridge, worth of 42,= Euros....
  6. Cars are still in New York, according to map on the tracking site... well, status is 'The shipment is in transit to its destination.' The Gaulle mobile is an ambulance, I picked it up in a local shop, with a lorry (a car transporter) and a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (latter one is also in the picture). Them three 1/65 scale vehicles cost me 15 Euro's... lol. Should've thought about visiting that shop earlier.... they got all kinds and scales of model cars... all very second hand though... and in need of some touching up with paint...
  7. Tried some photo-editing to make a comparison between RL and model ....
  8. No. 109's and 110's prop pitch works in a similar way, but just a tiny tad bit different... Difference being: 109: If you move the lever to the up position (100% in Spit/Hurricane) the pitch will start going upwards, from any position where is was, to its max. Or, until you move the lever back to its middle/neutral position. If you move the lever in the down position, pitch will be going down from wherever it was to its lowest value, or until you move the lever back to its neutral position. See? Very similar, just a bit different Same: Lever Up/Forward = Pitch Up Lever Down/Backwards = Pitch Down Difference: UK pitch control has a direct connection (1-on-1) between lever and pitch. The German pitch has a relation where lever position means either pitching up, pitching down or pitching steady.
  9. Happy Birthdays to the lot of ya! x5
  10. Hooray, my dozen 'o' cars are in Chicago already!
  11. Pictures with some 'dramatic lighting'... Ordered me some model cars (12) on S-Scale, 1:64. From the the United States, Frankfort, Kentucky. Costs: 44.95$, shipping and handling: 39.95$
  12. Good Show, thanks for posting that!
  13. Okay, it's in... no more randomization, all sequential, between 6'00 and 15'00, in steps of three hours...
  14. Changing of mission start time is back in. Random time between 6'30 and 16'30. Was wondering whether it'd be cool to have the mission run between 6'30 to 16'30 in steps of three hours instead of random. So if the mission ends at 9'30 (after starting at 6'30) the new mission would start where the previous one stopped: 9'30. And would thus run until 12'30. And so on... Would be nice, for anyone who would want to fly the entire 12 or so hours in one day in the Battle of Britain:) Who would do that? I'd better spend the time in throwing some more aircraft in
  15. Automatic change of mission time has been switched off again, as somehow, it got dark ... very dark ...
  16. For GK the answer is somewhere in this Post by Fruitbat As for sending chat messages, you'll have to open/add a new info window, customize it, en select the 'chat input' object, so you can enter text in it. No need to add the chat show output, as that's already on the right hand side.
  17. Welcome back home!
  18. Thanks ! Progress? Hm, a first attempt to create a 'template' for the railing, this is 15cm of a total of 400cm... And as the horizontal stuff is made out of balsa... oh so frikkin' fragile!
  19. And, a happy badger!
  20. One bridge, one layer of gray paint. Different lighting, different camera. Hence the difference in colour...
  21. +1 on what Jabo said on 'Driver Agent' Stuff like that is being thrown upon you if you are looking for a driver, any driver. Best to just go to the website of the manufacturer, and get drivers that way... What brand is that motherboard? (Me thinks 'Asus'... )
