One would think it could be possible in future to sign this one off as PFM?
Seeing as the model is based on TFC's own P-40F at Duxford, there could be opportunity for the real pilots to test it?
Nice bit of publicity for them, cheers for sharing mate.
Looking forward to seeing the DH9 when it's ready, also the two Nimrods (spot the difference FT!) and Fury we'll see this weekend.
Cheers mate, that was a really good one!
Your last hint about the failed contract made me wonder what else was in the running of the medium-bomber program that the B-25 eventually won.
Here she is with revised cockpit layout:
Ok then, let's see what I can come up with...
Got it!
Stearman XA-21
The Stearman Model X-100 was a competitor in an United States Army Air Corps competition
for a twin-engined attack aircraft which (after redesigns) led to the Douglas A-20 Havoc,
Martin A-22 Maryland and North American B-25 Mitchell.
The fin and rudder look incredibly similar to the Cavalier Mustang and most post war pre-jet aircraft tended to be radial powered.
I think it could be some experimental amalgamated design used for a movie... hmmm
I'd tend to agree Fen, the scenery also looks Murican to me and the props are Hamilton standard judging by the logo.
I had an inclination it may be from the NAA stable… hmm
