  4. Cheers mate, that was a really good one! Your last hint about the failed contract made me wonder what else was in the running of the medium-bomber program that the B-25 eventually won. Here she is with revised cockpit layout: Ok then, let's see what I can come up with...
  5. Got it! Stearman XA-21 The Stearman Model X-100 was a competitor in an United States Army Air Corps competition for a twin-engined attack aircraft which (after redesigns) led to the Douglas A-20 Havoc, Martin A-22 Maryland and North American B-25 Mitchell.
  6. The fin and rudder look incredibly similar to the Cavalier Mustang and most post war pre-jet aircraft tended to be radial powered. I think it could be some experimental amalgamated design used for a movie... hmmm
  7. I'd tend to agree Fen, the scenery also looks Murican to me and the props are Hamilton standard judging by the logo. I had an inclination it may be from the NAA stable… hmm

  9. Twin radial, medium bomber, 30/40s design, integrated cockpit / gunner station... Haven't the foggiest, despite extensive searching! Got anymore of it bongo?

  16. According to google maps, that's only 20 mins quicker than by road... I guess that's Gipsy Major 'power' for you! Although... I know how i'd rather travel. You are a lucky boy aren't you
  17. Also, nice footage Craig, what was your transit time between Sywell and DX?
  18. Hoping we get the same Akery Moonbeam solo this year. Those of you that only went on the Saturday missed this on the Sunday. He sure know how to fly a 51!
  19. Haha. Nope

  22. Fantastic! That gave me the biggest grin
  23. Well it was a tricky one mate, and another fugly arsed aeroplane! Over to you bongo
  24. You got it bongo, I believe it is a Funk F-23 which i understand was a crop duster or something before being funked up to loosely resemble a Ki-51. Hideous! It's certainly a new one on me! Sweper can you confirm?
