  1. …unless her name is 'Patsy', has extraordinary thighs and promises a 'good time long time'?
  2. Nice article here by Will Greenwood on flying and displaying his new Yak-3 last year. http://www.globalaviationresource.com/v2/2016/01/06/from-the-cockpit-yakovlev-yak-3m-g-oleg-gentle-learning-slopes/ I was looking forward to see him perform at Shoreham, alas it was not to be.

  3. Hmmm, I think that may be wise. Isn't Sony working on one as well? Looks like they staying tight-lipped for now... http://www.idigitaltimes.com/sony-skips-playstation-vr-update-ces-2016-501121
  4. You won't regret it Swep, it takes time but is very rewarding. With the release of 1.5.2 and having some time on my hands over the festive period i'm now even more of a convert. Thanks for the summary Tom, it certainly clears up some of my questions with regards to what is/was in development, not being a regular visitor to their forums etc. I simply cannot wait for Oculus, this game is going to be incredible with that.
  5. Exciting times indeed. Who will be preordering here? https://www.oculus.com/en-us/blog/oculus-rift-pre-orders-to-open-on-jan-6/

    New Toy Mmm

Nice chopper! I used to fly a T-Rex 450 and an I.C Raptor 30 as an aside from my usual RC aeroplanes a few years ago. My RC flying has been on hiatus since about 2011, but parts of my Raptor live on with PapaBear. I flew RC pretty much as soon as I could walk and talk, i'll get back to it one of these days... I'll occasionally sit up in my loft and stroke my 1/6th scale Spitfire.

  10. And there's me thinking it was just a bit of banter, I had no idea it was a semi-truth! That would be jolly smashing if it happens Uncle Sidley!
  11. Anybody aware of this? http://pegasusbridgethemovie.com/ I hope they do it justice!
  12. Merry Birthday Craig!
  13. December B-day Dogz unite! Happy Birthday Squawk
  14. This was my first ever online session with the Dogz! I flew a solo Mossie and that's me in the night reaper hurri. Lots of fun, let's do another
  15. Wonderful stuff! Some familiar aircraft there. Would love to see the Horsemen sabre trio routine! Shame about the cheesy music

  19. Ray Hanna 28/08/1928 - 01/12/05 It's hard to believe that 10 years have now passed since Ray left us. He and his late son Mark are what ignited my passion for aviation and particularly warbirds at an early age, thanks to PapaBear for exposing me to West Malling, Duxford and Biggin etc whilst still in nappies! Elliot Marsh from Global Aviation Resource has managed to articulate particularly well what Ray meant to many enthusiasts, his words resonating with my own thoughts and feelings. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the article in question: http://www.globalaviationresource.com/v2/2015/12/01/editorial-december-2015-remembering-ray-hanna/ I could try and harp on, but more of my poorly articulated words would simply not do it justice. For those who were not familiar with Ray and his son Mark, or those who just wish to remember what it was like to see warbird flying at it's best, here are a selection of videos: https://youtu.be/XvmUqRY8fLw And of course these!
  20. Excellent! I need to reserve myself some time to watch it all as well now
  21. Oh that's a shame FT.
  22. Only watched a few minutes of this so far, but looks interesting. Rare footage of 64sqn at Hornchurch in 1942. http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-64-squadron-at-raf-station-hornchurch-1942/
  23. Haha, It's all about the angle! All true of course, we've been crapping wrong all these years in the west.
