I don't know, whether other non-Dogz are on it or not it still costs us the same amount, at least we have received some donations. How many servers have we all frequented in our online flying lives and not contributed a dime towards them? The server is much more fun with the added incentive of going against 'breather' 109s and with such a small community, I wouldn't want to alienate people from flying CloD, it's just started getting good! My tuppence worth, for what it's worth...

Just leaving this here for anyone who's interested, i've not had a chance to sit through the whole 21 minutes yet, but did listen to him point out the uber-ness of the Russian aircraft compared to the German. It sure looks pretty and I might be tempted to give it a go, one day... If only DCS wasn't so addictive

Who here used to play this classic Win 95 game? I had many years enjoyment out of it during my childhood, and you can now play it again easily for free along with other titles in the series! http://cncnet.org/red-alert I've checked it out and it works perfectly as far as I can see. So, who's up for a battle?

Certainly not mate! Bob Hoover is one of the greatest pilots that ever lived (still with us age 93). See his well documented dead-stick energy display in a shrike commander. You won't regret it Swep, it takes time but is very rewarding. With the release of 1.5.2 and having some time on my hands over the festive period i'm now even more of a convert. Thanks for the summary Tom, it certainly clears up some of my questions with regards to what is/was in development, not being a regular visitor to their forums etc. I simply cannot wait for Oculus, this game is going to be incredible with that.

Nice chopper! I used to fly a T-Rex 450 and an I.C Raptor 30 as an aside from my usual RC aeroplanes a few years ago. My RC flying has been on hiatus since about 2011, but parts of my Raptor live on with PapaBear. I flew RC pretty much as soon as I could walk and talk, i'll get back to it one of these days... I'll occasionally sit up in my loft and stroke my 1/6th scale Spitfire.
