  1. Aha, so that's where the atiogllxxlxllxlxlx file comes into play right? I enabled shaders and got some blocky text the first 15secs of the track and then the blocks disappeared. Then when I was loading the next mission, the game put me back at desktop for a sec before jumping back into the game. Did so several times but the game runs steady and true.
  2. Great looking plane! I've always had trouble with R/C planes though, it would be extremely cool if someone made a model with comparable wing loading ans thrust/weight ratio as well. Would be very hard to fly maybe but atleast they would behave close to the real deal.

I can finally see why people always nag about how much better this game runs in OGL. It really does! Landscape flows much better and finally I can tweak details on a much larger scale. I run a Q9550@3.25gHz and 5870 graphics on this config and it works really great! Overclockign it some more tonight and see if it reduces some of the minor FPS loss I get over the bigger towns.   4. Without knowing what kind of motherboard you have, and if money is tight, I'd just replace the CPU. A nice 45nm Quad(Q9xxx) should be fairly cheap these days and SoW will be able to utilize four cores. Just a thought.

  6. They were yesterdays Ubizoo missions. Recorded at the same version I am running now. What's weird is that I could load up yesterdays Mosquito run mission recording just fine. I made three mission recordings yesterday but only one works. Won't play. Ich bin confused.
  7. Yeah Fruitbat, it was good practice. I didn't dare to bring it much closer though because we had some slight warping. I fell behind a couple of times because of that. Yesterdays Mosquito run: "Clunk!" Good effect on target!

  9. Sweet! We had a meteorite passing over us here in Scandinavia about a month ag as well. I was standing outside a friends house discussing when suddenly the sky lit up and a light ball passed almost directly above us. The light reflected quite accurately on the ground and we were too slow to actually look up. Thought the russians were doing some missile practice or something.

  12. I read through those links Snacko and I think I'm pretty close to FINALLY be able to run it in OpenGL now. Activated the second core, runs smooth etc. and it's all peachy so all that remains are those fruity color reflections. Don't know what causes that at all. Maybe it's trying to tell me something? The config didn't work at all, Toad, I don't know why but resolution went down the drain and it wouldn't start once I hit fly. just swapped back to the original and tweaked that one according to the UP link from Snacko. No atiogdllxxblablabla files swapped out or anything, just changed the settings. Current OpenGL settings with fruity colors:

  14. Aha ofcourse. Checked my ping and speed to Schwarzenegger's house as well. Not too bad I guess.
  15. The upload speed is a bit concerning though. Is this a good speed for hosting?
