X52 pro stick and pedal recognised. Started setting mappings to be as close as possible to Box.

having to use hat switch to look around as no trackir set up

If you're having trouble getting trackir to work; open it and update to the latest drivers.  There's a little box up in the top right corner on the main settings page.  Did the trick for Pooka and I.

I think I've found a way to do this Arthur without having to write down the numbers - be happy to walk you through the process at some point.

    Yeah, I'm up for it.:salute:

Oh course, it means wearing my Oculus Rift backwards again...sigh...

  3. Thats brilliant!  Just think of all the other products you could buy and then return as faulty and get a chance to tell a joke as you obtain a refund:D

It could go on for years before the police track you down  you run out of jokes*

Better still, we could start sending you stuff to return on our behalf!!

  4. My MSFFB2 is recognised by the game but it does not have a key assignment. I managed to map the essentials to it but for my throttle I think I’m going to have to write the lever and switch numbers down and then add them through the game. I haven’t found a way to adjust stick sensitivity yet.

  5. Yeah the ai decides to draw some weird stuff. I think their library and their algorithm might be a bit limited when it comes to ‘older’ buildings of non-North American origin. Churches in particular suffer from this. However, gain a little altitude (1000m) and it all starts to look astonishing.😍

  6. I bought it from Microsoft directly. Everything to do with it’s installation was a pain.  First of all I registered for an XBox for PC account. Then I had to register with Microsoft in order to purchase it. Let’s see...what was next? Oh yeah, I then tried to download it but Microsoft could not find a device to download it to so I had to register my PC with Microsoft- yes really! Then I was able to pre-download it. Only it doesn’t, it only d/l around 900mb which I think must have been the installer before stopping. I was able to download the other 130 odd gig the following morning. To compound matters, none of the above was obvious or straight forward on the various Microsoft web pages I was required to visit.  An absurd process.

  7. Got it going around midnight with just the very basics mapped to my MSFFB2 and graphics settings not touched at all.  TrackIr worked fine as did new Nvidia drivers released today with support for this sim.  Exeter to Dunkeswell via Sidmouth - a flight I’ve made many times in various light aircraft. Astonishing 😎.

  8. After wrestling with Microsoft's way of doing things I now have it downloaded and running and it looks....astonishing!  But that's it for a while as I'm sat in my car at our local casualty department whilst wifey is inside with her mum who has been knocked off her pushbike and appears to have a broken collar bone:roadrage:
