Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting! Have used it with BoS very briefly and the game is running smoother than before and I'm getting a higher frame rate. I can't see much difference in clarity but I'm running the Rift CV1 and I haven't had any problems like the S guys are getting from these recent updates. However, I have moved up from the 'balanced' preset to 'high'. This also means I get much nicer clouds. Thanks Sid

Finally started to have a proper poke around with settings for my Rift. Nice set up Crash and particularly like the fine collection of models. VR has meant a change to my set up too; I've had to clear away all the crap I'm usually surrounded by - box files, printers, a couple of mountain bikes, etc. - so I can fall over/fall off my chair in safety

If GBS is our most supported sim then why not increase the days we fly it and have it on the most supported days, i.e. Sunday and Tuesday? Also, why not increase DCS to two 'official' days rather than the ad-hoc basis it seems to exist under at the moment? If we put CLoD on a Sunday evening then we would seem to be replacing one dying out sim for another dying out sim

The potting compost? Don't know about framerates specifically but the whole thing helps the VR experience immeasurably as my wife no longer enters the room and accuses me of being 'a wanker' whilst I'm trying to fly!

Would it be possible for these 'few people on TS' to post their opinions here in this thread? From what I've read here so far it would seem the number of Dogz who either don't have '46 installed or who have lost interest in it would seem to out number those who still use it. I'm not sure we need to associate GBS with the eastern front too much these days. Within the next two months it would seem likely GBS will be releasing it's new 'Deventer Bombing Range' map and an array of suitable aircraft to accompany it so I think GBS will undergo another growth spurt of interest as it turns away from the Eastern front.

Suits me. I'd like the opportunity to fly GBS more and.....I'd like the opportunity to fly DCS more. More VR flying; yes please. However, I do feel the CloD server has to remain running. If we switch it off I think there's a real danger of CloD going belly-up numbers wise at the moment. We'd be "the squad that killed Cliffs"
