That's a VPForce Rhino base, a 20cm Virpil cranked extension, a VKB MkIII adapater and a VKB F-14 grip.
Still waititing on a VKB Black Box controller to allow the grip to connect to the PC and then I will be obliged to indulge in some rather brutal furniture modifications (calling my woodworking skills carpentry would be an insult to the trade) to (a) provide a solid mounting surface so it doesn't throw itself around like some demon-possessed jack in the box, (b) provide an arrangement that will also trap the office chair roller wheels so as not to propel me away from the PC whenever I try and use my rudder pedals and (c) allow full free and unrestriced movement to the stick (currently the desk and the chair occlude it's movement).Time for a little surgery...

In past versions cratering a runway was a good way to deny the AI use of it; whether this still holds for AI is open for testing.
As for players, craters will definitely put a dent in your ability to takeoff or land…

HBUI: NEW: Added Virtual Browser, and added “Online Mode” levels to HBUI. UI and Browser access is now controlled using a Special Option dropdown which allows selecting between:
- Full - Free browsing
- Offline - only offline UI features will work
- Whitelist (Default & Recommended) - sites defined by a special whitelist file are allowed, anything else is blocked

With regards performance for some of those flying the F-4 it should be noted that Heatblur pre-empted todays patch with a bunch of changelog notes specifically for the Phantom; it makes enlightening reading. Here's some snippets that could explain a few things, particularly those I have highlighted in bold:

- EZ Refuel Version: This was not using the ‘EZ Refuel’ version of Mission 12. This is now fixed. On start you will get a notification that the campaign has been rebuilt and your position lost. Just skip to your current mission and proceed.

Well gents, after months of head scratching, software fiddling, driver updating, setting changes, etc, I think I've finally cracked it with my CTD and BSOD issue.
Thanks to everyone for chipping in over the past few months with ideas, threads, articles, moral support and welcome ridicule as I've got more and more fudged off.
Last Thursday, prompted by Kev's suggestion (cheers!), I ran the rig with the new pair of RAM sticks removed, leaving the original older pair. For those online at the time, you recall it was the first time since the upgrades I had a evening without DCS crash or BSOD.
Today, after some testing, it appears that just by switching the locations of the old and new modules, I can run the full 64GB and the crashes are gone. CPUZ shows timings all match and I ran some RAM stress tests without a single error.
After putting DCS through its paces in VR, both online and offline, all seems to be well and the smoothest it has been.
More importantly, the weird resolution noise / deterioration I've experienced in VR since the upgrade has completely disappeared and I've reset the slices registry entry back to default.
Finally, hopefully, I can enjoy my Thursdays again
