Agreed Chris, and yeah, time to move on. The people who were limited to '46 have moved over to BoX for the most part and with numbers at an all time low (i.e. zero) there seems little point in having a dedicated night for it. I shall miss FTs long missions and the mix of theatres and planesets that '46 has in spades and I doubt that we will ever see a game like it again but time moves on...

You've got a few more days of cheap(er) access to Bodenplatte. The premium (early access) edition is $69.99 as opposed to its usual price of $79.99. It's going to be your last chance to get it at a reduced rate for quite a while. Bear in mind that if you buy the premium editions you get more planes but you don't need them for the maps if you're flying along with the rest of us as the map is hosted by the server. Buy modules/collector planes/campaigns from the website rather than Steam if you can, that way you can be certain that all the money goes to the developers. I agree with Delta - Kuban and BP are the modules with the most interesting aircraft for me - the rest of it is a bit meh but with a few gems.

This was causing problems for me too Delta (at least until Sid kindly straightened out my control settings). Now I have a dedicated button to start each engine and then separate sliders for throttle and pitch on each engine. I also have buttons mapped so I can select a specific engine for feathering/fire suppression/etc as necessary. If it would help I'd be happy to hop on TS to go through it with you?

You'll find things are pretty...erm...casual, so don't expect too much (i.e. anything) in the way of ranks, grades etc. Just don't go bothering someone else's sheep. Currently our flying schedule looks like this; Mon - IL-2 46 Tue - GBS Wed - CloD Thur - DCS Sun - GBS People are usually on from about 8pm CET (officially) but I know that the Canadian and US Dogz meet up at other times more suited to their timezones as well. Bear in mind that for IL-2 46 and CloD that you might find people online then - it's getting a bit hit-and-miss with those as pilot numbers are falling.
