  1. In your conf.ini, under the [game] section, you set NoSubTitles=1 I think that's the setting, it works for me.
  2. v1.2a is the latest I found, if you've got the Flaming Cliffs add-on I think. https://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos= ... page=8#531
  3. Apologies for digging up an old thread, but I just got the LOCK ON: GOLD version of this and did a search to see who else flies it. I agree with BG that all that Beyond Visual Range lock on and fire and forget crap bores me rigid too, but I love flying the A-10. I'm currently enjoying the 1st campaign for the A-10. If anyone else still flies it, would you fancy trying a co-op in it? Or even a guns only dogfight with the MIG-29 maybe?
  4. Okay, next time I'm on HL & TS, I'll have a look around to see if any of you guys are on the Full Switch servers and join in.
  5. I tried it once, before I joined the DDz, and so flying it alone without wingman support and no TrackIR or TS, it wasn't much fun at all. I found myself just chasing little black dots, high up in the sky, that I never seemed to get closer to. Then all of a sudden, several bangs and then I'm tumbling towards the ground after being bounced on by someone I never saw. So now that I've got you guys to protect my six and my CrapIR, I might just give it another shot.
  6. That is all pretty lame.
  7. ~S~ Nightwarrior, I flew with you the other week when poor old Sged had his TS problems and you were his 'mind-reader' for the rest of us. Hope to flew with you again soon. GK
  8. Klinger, Are you implying, politely, that I should RTFM!?!?!?
  9. Ooh, I'll 'ave a bit of that!

  11. I'm really trying hard to be like the
  12. Welcome 46/Emil, I just read you entire thread on ubi and I echo what Shadow said. Those guys sure are paranoid over there!?!?
  13. Very funny indeed. I must of missed out on the “World Travel and Opening Ones Mind To Adventureâ€
  14. @ Rattler - Nice pix and storyline. Our very first DDz comic? Who's going to play Ginger?
  15. I saw a poll on the official forums on what players thought was the toughest crate in the game. Most picked the P-47. I haven't flown it much at all, so what do all you SEOW vets think of it?
  16. Very nice pics Klinger. On that first one, is that a custom image on your P-47, or a proper squadron badge? p.s. Regarding you sig, I've heard a variation... "Got all the kit, load of shit."
  17. I'm not upto speed on all the Wireless technology (I bet B16enk is though) but as long as you've got your wireless network secured with an encryption key, you shouldn't really worry. This is just like the UK version of TV detector vans that travel the country detecting which houses have a TV in use and cross-checking the house address with the TV license database. If you've not paid your TV license, they come knocking. Doesn't mean anyone can watch TV if they get 'close' to your house. So these trucks just pick up your wireless router's Unique ID code, and then cross reference your location with GPS. But that doesn't mean anyone can then jump onto your wireless network with this information, unless you give them the encryption key. Or they enlist the NRA to crack your encryption key. So I guess this Skyhook service is just a database of members who've signed up and given their encryption keys?
  18. I've been to Edmonton, they didn't seem that strange whilst I was there?
  19. I'm looking forward to seeing this. But are the action scenes aimed towards the 18-24 year old brigade who enjoy crap like Triple X II: State of the Union, or are people with slightly more brain cells going to enjoy it too?
  20. Not good enough Your Un-holiness I'm afraid!
  21. I tried it too frior and got the same error message. You must have a DNS setting in your work that maps network to some address or setting we don't know about.
  22. Very nice job! the pics of it look great. Can't wait to see it lined up alongside its adversary.
  23. Wow! Great tale Klinger, I'd love to have been there when they flew right over you. p.s. One another thing, watching all these ingame videos is really helping my shooting. Seeing when and where other pilots open fire on a target is an eye-opener for me. MORE!!!
  24. I bloody well hope not too, since you're in a German U-boot!
  25. Good article DT, although I couldn't give a rat's arse about 'Cap'. More a Spiderman fan myself.
