    Movember.

~S~ Chaps, OVERVIEW OF MOVEMBER During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer. How about showing a bit of support by just growing a beauty (if you don't already have one that is) and proudly walking around with it jutting from your top lip. No need to raise funds if you dont want to but you can tell folks why you are growing it if they ask.......job done. Posting a pic is absolutely vital LOL........... Sqn Ldr Pointless DFC. CBE. AC/DC. and one for the ladies........... ~S~ P. PS Sorry it's half way through the month already but I had to grow something visible before posting LOL.

  4. Your last sentence said it all. Just go for it mate. I was in a similar situation when I joined the Dogz, we had a match against another squad and I was too covard to join the fun. Since you are a real man (unlike me that has been raised under 100 years of socialsm and a too caring mom) I think you have the qualities. I´m in. ~S~ Parts BOLLOCKS ! ~S~ Shameless

  12. ~S~ Barnaby sir, OOOOPS "I ran out of altitude, airspeed and ideas all at the same time!" Now that is funny !! Reminds me of track days when guys would "run out of track, talent and cash all at the same time" BTW.......... "DD_Parts" may well be interested in knowing what you have found helps with stick profiles ~S~ Painless.
  13. ~S~ Flak m8, You should do a seperate post of your own with lots of photos of your planes for the chaps to see, especially that huge Mustang ! ~S~ Painless

  17. ~S~ Chaps, Just got back from visiting Fruitbat and Fenrir and I had a great time. I also got to see and fly both RoF and CLOD for the very first time on full whistles and bells on Kev's machine. I have to say that although I am still very much for IL2 , I can now see exactly what all of our RoF and CLOD fans are raving about. It really was a revalation to me to see just how good the RoF flight models are and how good the graphics are especially the "LOD" as they call it. Great fun to fly. As for CLOD wow.... Again the graphics and flight models which have been sorted are absolutely superb but I am told that there are still issues with the "LOD" and high altitude performance of some of the planes. Even so at low / medium levels it was awsome to watch the graphics and "feel" the aircraft handling. I really liked having to set up the compass, set up the gunsight, warm the engine in a Spitfire before take off. It was a great challenge to set the throttle in a 109E1 and use the prop pitch alone to maintain optimum revs and power. So there you go chaps, if like me previously you haven't had a go at these "new" sims I would highly recommend doing so on a powerful PC. Perhaps one day we will find room in the DDz for all three of these excellent sims on a more regular basis. To those of you who have been playing RoF and / or CLOD for ages well..... I can see why ~S~ A most impressed Painless.
  18. ~S~ Colin M8, A nice winter match would get the circulation moving, splendid. Might be worth a poll to choose the best date ? ~S~ P.
