  12. Your Worship, I write to you on this day, on this eve of a new year, when people prepare to start a new stage in their life and often want to start with a clean slate. Well Abbot, I find myself in such a position. Let me explain. Over this Christmas period I have often found myself alone, and Doubletap The Devil (that is one for those that have been around for a while ) will find work for idle hands. With no one around and the whole internet at my disposal, my fingers started to explore what was out there, lurking, waiting to lure an unsuspecting soul in. To tempt them with hints of pleasures to be gained after just completing a few simple clicks of the mouse. I was in discrete mode, no one will know I thought, so I clicked. I know I have always preached about such things and how it is the way of the modern world, but I never thought how easy it would be to be sucked in to what was on offer. I clicked, I followed the instructions, I did not even have to enter a credit card (although I suspect that will come later) I was committed. I had been caught and pulled in. Pulled into a world that offers pleasures previously un-imaginable egged on by others that have already tasted the sweet fruits that are on offer Abbot, my sin for which I crave forgiveness...... I have installed Rise of Flight
  13. Many thanks I have what I wanted now. Regards Friar

  16. Hello, Is there anyone that either has or can perhaps do (snacko?) for me the attached skin. Its from a Spit V from Malta flown by George Beurling. I have looked on M4T but could not find a match. The under belly is the same colour as the blue on the body. Un marked will be fine. Sorry for the quality. If you need a better shot let me know. Cheers Friar

  18. Not seen that before. really enjoyed it. thanks for the post.
  19. I have also been asked to point out a little "tweak" to your conf.ini that seems to help lag Depending on you connection Thor has suggested the following ISDN --> clientRate=10000 slow ADSL --> clientRate =15000 normal ADSL --> clientRate=25000 high-speed ADSL -> clientRate=40000 so in your confi.ini in the [net] section set speed=40000 for example
  20. Battle-Fields Game Server Address for tonight 87.102.61.7 port 21000
  21. Another post I just made How to kick this thing off? May I suggest that we let everyone spawn in, giving the server a moment or two to settle down and then post "go go go" in the chat window to all players. At that point we start the clock on the 90 minutes? I await their reply........
  22. Copy of reply to question posted by Fruitbat... Originally Posted by fruitbat Salute gentlemen, First off, thank you for all the work on building this mission I have just one question lol, regarding how the radar is going to work during the actual mission. I've heard from Friar that if you fly under 100m you will not show on the radar, is this 100m above sea level across the map, as the German airfields are above that figure ( @160m ), and therefore, as soon as German planes spawn in, they would show on the red radar, or am i misunderstanding? Thanks in advance, DD_fruibat. You are welcome, and correct. The radar is fixed to the sea level, and so is the limit of 100m above deck. For this reason we gave it a limited range (~5 grids). The airfields closest to the Channel may show planes but the ones further inland should not. Originally Posted by airdoc Can someone re-check the German radar at BE22 please? In general, it seems like the whole coastal line from BE22 to BF23 (which has 2 targets for reds) doesn't have significant AA protection, although there are 2 airfields in very close proximity -Wissant and Calais-Coqueles- none of which has even a single AA. Although the airfields dont have aircraft, it seems pretty easy for a red guy to fly over this area without any opposition whatsoever. Well spotted, thanks airdoc.
