Well I finally got confirmation over the phone that I should have my order this Saturday. Have to say, I know they are stretched, but the service hasn't been exemplary. After they tried to get me to downgrade because my mobo wasn't in stock, I found it on their website under a new LN number on sale for cheaper than I'd paid for it! Anyway, minor refund on its way and everything now in stock and being stress tested as we speak. Just under a month from ordering.

I would like to report a new German wonder weapon - their scientists seem to have come up with a way of attaching a rubber band - or bungee rope to their aircraft, which can then be fired at yours, backwards if necessary, and on making contact it sticks to your aircraft and pulls their aircraft into yours to destroy you in one swoop via a collision. The German pilot goes down too with this weapon - but in a blaze of glory, and is posthumously awarded the Knights Cross with Cabbage Leaves and Broccoli for the successful destruction of an Allied Aircraft using the "rubber band" method. Other 485th pilots saw this amazing new wonder weapon in action last night - so be warned, either it is true, or we have all been at Artie's moonshine again and are suffering from hallucinations 😲

I dont think the 3060ti would be a vast improvement on the 1080. Certainly not worth thinking about.

There again last week there were no 3090s incoming and 4 days later Asus 3090 TUF OC x8 Asus 3090 Strix OC x4 Gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC x5 Gigabyte 3090 Master x5 Asus 3080 TUF OC x8 Gigabyte 3070 Gaming OC x30 So things can get better but very slowly. At least BB will get my 1080oc when my card comes in
