Double, didn't even crash his own plane.

I thought it was still his.

I bet the new owner, slapped himself, even knowing Rob was Ok.

As was stated in the interview - an expensive hole in the ground. He's incredibly fortunate to have been able to bail successfully so low although his many hours in the P-51 and RAF training undoubtably came to his aid.

I wonder what was going through that groundcrew person's mind as they made that call to his mobile.
