Here is a report in the Daily Mail. Brief, but is important as the pilot can now be repatriated and his family can gain some peace in the knowledge that he has been found at last.

But: "Well preserved: The wreck of the Spitfire, including the cockpit and propellors were in excellent condition". How does it look like when in bad condition?

Given where it's been for the past 65-odd years, I'd say that's pretty good. Mind you, it'll take a while to buff the dents out.
