Tonar Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 That's a big fish. He was lucky he wasn't "Noodlin" for it or he would of been lunch. That is the bad thing about world records. I don't think you can have one and not kill the fish. I hope that guy has a freezer for months and months of deep fried greasy hot catfish. Quote
Snacko Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Sounded like that old fish just wanted to end it all. Quote
BadAim Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 LOLs. Methinks that 'ole boy had a good life fer a fish. I'm guessing that sucker will be feeding the whole town. Quote
Snacko Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Since we're talking fish here... I grew up in a little town called Archbold, Ohio. My Great Great Grandfather was the first mayor. Back in the 1800's the creek overflowed and when it receded the town was covered in Carp. So, all the neighboring towns called Archbold 'Carptown'. Now they have an annual festival called Carp Fest each summer. Here's our mascot: Cornelious Carp Quote

Tonar Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 That is sweet, I have heard of Carp in the streets during floods. Carp are one of the toughest fish to catch with a fly. I am 1 for 25 Quote
