The items you want to change are almost certainly defined by a css (Cascading Style Sheet) file.

What blog software is it?

Which template are you using?

Generally one has to analyse the php (or asp) file that generates the blog to identify the blocks that present the data, each of these will have a unique name.

You then look in the .css file (style.css or reallyfunkytemplatename.css or whatever the template/style sheet is called) to find the matching block....

It is not as easy as you may think..
