Oldtimer Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Having spent a torrid 2 days re-installing the game, I now find that the problem was caused by the Vid card settings! All the patches are in and it seems ok except - I can't load 4.08 clean from the AAA source on the switcher menu. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The switcher copies C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\_Game Switchers\4.08 Mods OFF (Original)\files.SFS and il2fb.exe to the root of your game folder. (the italics is specific to my install, yours will likely be different). You can use the MD5Summer from the vault to confirm your files are ok with the attached MD5Sum.
